Should GT5 damp A-spec and Expand special events?

I want an Event Editor. If Kaz won't fix A-Spec then give me the tools to do it myself. If we could make our own halls and races and upload them, we could try out each others idea of what A-Spec should be.

Spot on, this is exactly what GT5 needs - it would be the driving game equivalent of the everlasting light bulb!

You could specify everything..
Single race or Championship.
Cars eligible by PP, BHP, make, or drivetrain etc.. etc..
Course(s), no of laps, weather.
Practise laps to determine grid position (like GT4)
AI difficulty level.
The Event Editor could then calculate the credits and XP you get depending on length, difficulty etc.

That would totally rule!

If practice had more options then just one make and gave out credits/XP , that would add a lot for the internet-less . Many around here have hoped for a GT PSP style system . Which would be killer . Ultimately GT5 is brilliant at times, but simply doesn't give me enough to do . It's hard to enjoy 1000+ cars with 1/3 the events of GT4 . So I can't help but hope for a well rounded fleshed out GT6 to release for PS3. I think most people ejoy GT5 but want to truly love it . For many the game just seems to be missing that little something it needs to be truly great.

I hope they get rid of aspec, their resources are better spent on gt 6/online features/dlc.

Shift, forza, many other games have no problem having Ai thats a challenge................... Play more games.


Sales would plummet if they made Gt online online. Millions buy the game for Sp alone....

Gt4 had 500 events, Gt5 has the smallest , worst career mode out of any major race game of the last few years......

SP will always be a major bread and butter of any major racing game and for good reason. GT5 fails in this area and needs to add more events, championships, manufacturer events, different laps, etc... most of the cars are not even used in game.

We at first need real races! Not the "Overtake all in one round" stuff we have now. Its boring.

My sentiments too. I also find having to go "online" to do these is ridiculous..👎
At least make it worth our while by making them a little more interesting (harder, more difficult...)

Keep Special Events the way it is and just expand A-Spec. I'd love to see an A-Spec endurance race at Spa-Francorchamps.
