I choose no, because I'm deaf. How I should to hear a navigator? I hope they add a proximity arrow for WRC only.
Crap, you serious?

Why? Because they actually know how to read maps?
[wifey]Men... they never ask for directions... [/wifey]

I'm surprised nobody else wants this... I wholeheartedly agree that it would be a fantastic addition... as long as we get long point-to-point stages... or even if we don't.
I'm game... as long as the guy has a Scottish accent.![]()
Sat Nav?!?A navigator would be useful, but i think restricted to rally races, and maybe practice runs of longer circuits like the Nurburgring, but not in actualy races... the co-driver would weigh your car down![]()
I think a talking navigator option would be nice, as long as it's an option to turn it off or on.
It could get a little tedious at Daytona or the Motegi Oval...
"Turn left, turn left, tur..."

Um.....
Are you serious?
This is a joke topic - right?
Please tell me this is a joke topic.....
Imagine a point to point race around twice the length of the Nurburgring that you have never raced before.
Serious enough?
The feature could just be arrows on the screen, it worked in some of the earlier rally games i've played. But we definetly need something like it for WRC.
I would practice the track several times before a major race.
The last thing I would want to hear during an intense race is "Left turn ahead - slow down."
Somebody talking to me while I am trying to concentrate is mind-numbing!![]()

Useful on the 'ring then...
Why not.. What exactly does the Rally CO-Drives say?
And Besides, It won't be too hard to record all of the RALLY STAGES corners.. lets say 5 -10 stages at first release.. thats only around 100 - 200 corners, so 100-200 voice lines PD has to record, in reality its not even that much.
Also as long there is a ON and OFF button.. every one leaves happy
Actually, they wouldn't even need to record that many. They could use a procedural technique where they simply give each corner a severity and whatever other info is needed, then the co-driver would put together the variables and say the two items needed (5 right or whatever). It might sound a bit unnatural, and doesn't account for unique dialogue (such as "don't cut, rock inside") and the like, but it would work great.
Imagine if we have a track creator, this would allow for those that make dirt tracks to not have to worry about people running into problems finding the turns.
Navigators and Sat Navs are for dumb so n so's that don't know where they're going. So I voted no.
Yeah, try telling that to Sébastien Loeb before he hits a rally stage.
Sorry, but it sounds like you don't know dick about rally racing.lol..I'll ask him if i ever meet him why they need a nav.
Sorry, but it sounds like you don't know dick about rally racing. We are not talking about GPS navigation computers here, you know?
But to answer the question; as long as we have real WRC rally stages, of course! 👍 Nicky Grist FTW!![]()
