That wouldn't even be acceptable in grade school^

Lol, first of all, I'm a techno geek. I anxiously await 4K Ultra HD resolution as well as other new video technologies. GT5 in 3D is epic, nothing better. Now I wont accept anything less, lol. The only thing I hate about GT5 is the car selection, I'm a luxury sedan guy. I wish they would include the Jaguar X class; the Lexus LS, GS, and R class; BMW 7 series, Range Rovers, Infiniti G45 and M45 from around '92 to 2013. That's the only thing that disappoints me about GT (my favorite racing game), Forza is second in my opinion.
If you have a new LG 3D TV you may or not not know that you can view any TV, game or movie in 3D as long as the media is 1080p. This is due to LG's 2D-to-3D conversion techology. Most games on the Xbox 360 are 1080p, so I get play them all in 3D thanks to my LG TV. Pick any title - I've played all of them in 3D which is just as good as native 3D in my opinion, although 720p with the 2D-to-3D conversion is not. Most PS3 games are 720p and it frustrates me, games like The Last of Us and God of War. I think most Blu-ray movies are 1080p or you can at least find them converted to 1080p if you search online. Again the 3D effect in any 1080p media can be considered just as good the 3D effect on media made natively in 3D.
Reviews I've read stated that launch games for the PS4 would be native 1080p. Great news for me, that means I get to play every game in 3D. I believe I read that the Xbox One would put out 720p games that can be upscaled to 1080p. I actually like the 360 better than the PS3 because every game is in 1080p and I prefer the controller, but I will say Playstation Home is ethereal compared to any avatar games on Xbox Live. I expected GT6 to come out in 3D and I hope its exclusion is misreported (
moderator note: GT6 is not launching with 3D capability, but it will be
added in a patch:

I haven't bought a next-gen console yet because I'm still debating between them, but eventually I will own them both. I'm leaning towards the PS4 which releases nothing under 1080p, which means everything will automatically be 3D supported on my screen, movies, games, etc. I would still need an Xbox One to PS4 controller converter to play it properly though, lol. Surprisingly, at launch, I read that only one game is made with native 3D for the PS4 and it's a game I've never heard of. Very disappointing for the console to not have much 3D support in this new generation.
If you have an LG 3DTV you may be in luck like me. I will admit the 3D effect is not as good as it could be on a natively developed 3D games but it's as good as one [sic]. I would recommend 3DTVs for gamers that love RPGs. One the best unnative 3D games I would recommend is Dantes Inferno. On my LG TV you have the 2D-to-3D conversion, SBS and top and bottom [sic] for ready made 3D games. Then there's the last 3D option which I discovered can only be used with 1080p games movies or videos. The latter feature is what will give you the great 3D conversion for any HD media.
I'm currently playing Grand Theft Auto 5 on my LG TV in 1080p in 3D, it's unnative 3D but it looks good, I love it. "3D" enough for me, truly. Although I still hope every game in the future is made in native 3D like GT5, Mortal Kombat and Batman: Arkham City was. And I hope that when GT6 does come out it will have been developed with native 3D.
