Should GT6 be 3D Compatible?

do you like 3D effects presented in gt6?

i 've bought new tv with passive 3D support. launch gt and game automatically detect 3D so I switched to it. and.... i'm a bit disappointed. thought that effects will be more visible, what i can see is a graphic downgrade.

i'm not a fan o 3d, just want to test it as my tv support this feature.

ps i have to launch gt5, some of you wrote that for 5 effects was impressive... maybe my new tv is a piece of **** or i should play with settings...

But GT6 doesn't output in 3D yet, so your TV is doing the conversion which (like most simulated 3D) isn't really effective, especially for games.

If you have GT5, this has proper 3D support and will demonstrate your TV's 3D capability much better, and is actually quite wondrous and immersive, being able to see subtle cambers etc and getting a proper sense of distance/how far things are.

A point to note though, as you have a passive 3D set, as these use polarized glasses to 'hide' alternating lines so each eye sees half an interleaved image, you effectively lose half your resolution. An active 3D set uses battery powered glasses to display the full resolution image, but each frame displays alternately and the glasses only 'let through' the correct image for each eye. This way you don't lose any resolution but the downside is you need bulklier and costlier glasses (and can sometimes see more 'ghosting').

I never play in 3D because it gives me a headache. It's just a cool thing to look at every once in a while, but we don't really need it.
 
Can't wait till GT6 gets updated - at least 3D is officially confirmed to be an update. Still, I really wish it was already here.

And for once I'd wish people would refrain from using "we" when stating a personal opinion of an individual.
 
why you guys are talking 'we'. if in gt5 is good why not gt6? maybe you should consider other needs ;) cars are modeled so good that i'll be waiting patiently for update with 3d. it could be totaly new experience.

i have 2 kids and a wife so i need cheap equipement and also i read that passive is not bad. will si, today can't but tommorow give a try to gt5 and let you know how i see it.
