And here, I thought this would be an excellent discussion of the pros and cons of the "free-to-play" business model of gaming and citations of how GT6 could use downloadable pay-content to raise the bottom-line versus how they do it now with paid packages with free online content.
Which would be followed up by a discussion of game economics with models, graphs and statistics, followed by arguments over the technical merits of "free-to-play" games versus the cost involved in creating a fully-featured boxed product.
I was looking forward to not closing this (admittedly amusing) topic.
Instead... it's the same old back-biting, flaming, tired old GT5-sucks-no-it-doesn't argument. I can't even begin to separate the handful of on-topic posts from the rest of this morass. And yes, I actually sifted through all seven pages of this thread.
