It could come in handy for license tests and special events - showing braking points, lines etc. A-Spec video guide would be sort of a waste of time though, that's really up to the driver.

Go for it though, what do you have to lose? You'll get viewers.

i have £100 to lose for the equipment.

Thinking of buying a HD Recorder so i can record GT6 walkthroughs and fun online videos and a Platinium Guide, would you guys be interested in me recording such videos?
That's entirely up to you. They're really not that expensive around $100.

I bought my HD PVR 2 last year, I can't wait to use it for GT6.

I can't use a HD PVR since my pc is way downstairs, i was thinking about Avermedia but it's like £70 on Amazon, still too much since PS4 is out and it won't function with PS4, if someone found it for the price of £40 or less i would buy it straight away!

Regardless of which capture device you use you'll need to connect it to your PC. Ideally, you would want to use a laptop.

If you want to do it for your own enjoyment go for it. 👍 Just realize the net will be flooded with similar types of videos, especially in the first few months.

no capture cards will work with the ps4 OR ps3 over HDMI because of HDCP, the reason you can capture PS3 however is because capture cards come with cables for the ps3 which are unencrypted and allow 1080p, these havent been made for the ps4 yet

I have the elgato game capture HD, it was expensive but very worth it, much better than the HDPVR2

I use a HD PVR with a HDMI splitter and a HD Fury III for HDCP removal. Games need to run in 720P or 1080i though. Sadly no 1080P with the HD PVR, but the HD Fury III handles it perfectly. JD Fury III delivers Component or VGA output. The new HD Fury 4 handles HDMI and does downscaling from 1080P to 1080i in the box.

If you think you'll have fun doing, sure. There are some walkthroughs and licence guides on Youtube so you might not get the most viewers. I'm sure people on GTP would love to help boosting them views a bit tho. :D
