I'd probably say...erm...

Well, Prostreet has to have been one of the largest dissapointments ever. Carbon was just a expansive version of Most Wanted. Personally, I'd get MW.

If you want to know which has better customization I'd probably say PS mainly because adding decals is easier than in Carbon. However, I'd probably say Carbon was more fun thanks to the free roam and still having pursuits.

:confused:Tough one. they but let me down on what I expected. If you have to get one, I'll say Pro-Street. They have so many more cars. Drag racing is back and you can pop wheelies in certain cars. Drift is a bit harder in Pro Street, speed challenges show a great sense of speed. But all this is compared to Carbon and no other game.:yuck:
Maybe you should wait for GRID (a racing game made by the creators of Dirt) to be released in stores.

No, it isn't. Between ProStreet and Carbon, I'd go with Carbon, but I'd recommend Most Wanted, Hot Pursuit 2, and maybe Underground 2 before either of them.

the only 2 NFS games available for the PS2 worth buying is hot pursuit 2 and maybe even most wanted(maybe).

the rest is utter crap

MW and HP2 are definitely the best of the PS2 games, but U2's driving physics and free-roam were great, so I wouldn't call it utter crap unless you're referring specifically to the rice-happy customization.

I think for PS2 it has to be Hot Pursuit 2 and Most Wanted if you havent already got them.... they are by far the best... particularly HP2 which seems to have EVERYTHING! although no customisation :)

Underground 2 was probably my favorite NFS game of all time...carbon sucked alot and i haven't really tried Pro Street on PS2

I played Pro Street on the DS and the Demo for the ps3.

GRID is only available on the PS3, 360, and the DS just to let everyone know.

i would suggest Carbon.., ProStreet sucks, it doesn't fit in well with the NFS series.., NFS games are supposed to be arcade-style, not racing sims..,

Well it must have stoped there aye? And I'd say go with Underground 2... Its the best of them all if you ask me

Neither... get GRiD. It's NFS without the rice. Unless you want rice...

BUT there are some tasteful body mods to be had on Mustang's in underground 2. Just have to stay in the first tier of stuff, where it's subtle.

get ug2, it has the best free roam, no pursuits but hey, you wont care when you see the modifying range, and you can tune little hatchbacks 106 gti ftw!

prostreet = [a word im not allowed to say]

Grid is a joke.

I disagree, NFS Pro Street was no different than any other recent titles they released. It was still an arcade racer and the car's handled easy enough for an 8 year old to be good; which is their goal to get more sales. Whereas Grid is more of a hybrid driving game between an arcade and a simulator. You can't adjust any settings but the car's handle way more realistically than NFSPS. Still doesn't compare to GT5P but a step in the right direction. Just a couple pennies for y'all.
