Make sure your printers, whatever are supported by Vista. When XP came out, you could get away with W2K drivers for a lot of devices. Not with Vista; can't use XP drivers.
Unless you have some sort of specialized device, you should be OK. Complaints come from 3 main sources. First, the whiners because it's "different," they don't know how to get to their screens. ("Where's the screen saver?" "How do I set my background?") Second, upgraded on insufficient hardware. (Not you, probably.) Third, other devices or apps don't work. (Printers, tuner cards, USB camera interface, and so on. No way to check without trying, in a lot of cases. Try to go to the mfr and ask.)
For 45 bucks you can't go wrong, even if you just sit on the disk until you have more confidence in the system and its device support.
