My dfgt has served me well but the pedals are starting to give out. The brakes stay on 5-10% after I release them. I've cleaned it out, rebent the springs and it's functional. How is the quality and reliability of the g27 pedals? Reluctant to give more money to logitech, but the t500 is out of my price range.

If you want the best get a t500 RS with the t8rs piece

Fanatec CSR Elite. It is better and you can play PS3, Xbox and PC games with it.

I think a G27 is good enough. The next gen will come in 1-3 years and we don't know if they can use the old wheels or have better wheels. I think you can use them.

I wouldn't buy a expensive wheel anymore. Maybe MS allows to use more than Fanatec in the future.

Been bangin' on my G27 brake pedal for almost two years now with no problem at all. Cool thing about the G27 brake pedal is that there are 3 or 4 mods out there that you can get to upgrade the pedal to make it even better than it already is which I plan on doing in the future.

But whats the price range on those things? seems to me like the same as the upper-level sim-racing wheels.:dopey:

CSR Elite and Thrustmaster are both to expensive if you ask me. But if you want the best console wheel CSR Elite is your choice.

I read alot of reviews and talked with friends which used the Thrustmaster and CSR Elite. 99% of them said CSR Elite is better and some said it is in a own league.

I only used the CSR Elite for some hours. I could use the Thrustmaster for half an hour.

Well i have and like the G27. It is a good wheel for the price you can buy it. Of course Thrustmaster or especielly the CSR Elite are better, but in my opinion they are overpriced.
