What other cars in the game would it compete with? In other words, what else would have similar speed and handling?
If PD put the DeltaWing in GT5, I'd do the same thing I did with the C7 Proto; Take it to Trial Mountain and see how well I can roll it.
Despite this... I don't think it's needed. (It's a Nissan, but NOT a Skyline...)
It competes with LMP2 cars but it is not legally in that class.

Im still waiting for the quote from the allmighty moderator, by the way.
DeltaWing?
If the rumours I've heard are true, there's not a chance in hell. It might be a Nissan-engined car and driven by a number of Nissan factory drivers, but Don Panoz holds the licensing rights and it's rumoured he requires $1m for licensing.
Of course he might be persuaded to make a deal, given his car's relationship with Nissan (engine, drivers, factory support) and Nissan's with Sony (GT Academy).
I wouldn't be so quick to judge.
Firstly, yes, I imagine Nissan might have a bit of lean. Secondly, MS may have the funding for this but I seriously doubt they'd go for it for one car. FM just isn't that much of a money-spinner for them - only one in every nine consoles has a copy of any one of the games, on average, though it could be as little as one in twenty X360 owners being FM players. The gross profit on FM is of the order of $25m, over the seven years the series has been going - around $3.5m a year. The odds of MS wanting to throw a third of the annual profit from FM on one car, unless it significantly enhances sales from the existing 5-10% range of all console owners, is slim.
But they do have an ALMS deal (Don Panoz again) and DeltaWing will be racing in Grand-ALMS in 2013, allegedly...
There is none for me. I was simply trying to encourage Mr Simon here to make a formal post like so.Toronado...what's your excuse?
Kazunori YamauchiAs for people being able to drive the car in a Gran Turismo game, well, Lucas is a winner of GT Academy, so that is always a possibility.
ScaffOpinion is not fact - don't present it as such
Argue the point don't attack the person making it
The term 'fanboy' (including any and all derivations) is banned
Accusations of 'Troll' simply because you don't like what someone says are also out
If you make a claim back it up with sources - fail to do so and you will be asked to provide them
It won't appear in any game as long as the rumoured 1 million USD licence fee applies.
It's a Le Mans car, and I expect it's numbers to be as out of wack if it shows up as every other Le Mans Car. If it came in the same way as the R10 TDI (e.g, not too unrealistic power/torqe levels) then it would be brilliant. Any more power than that thing already has is a recipe for disaster. It only weighs, what, 500ish kilos?
Even with the Nissan logo all over it?
