Should PD change/remove the UCD?

I actually kind of like how the UCD works, the one thing i would maybe change is to add a "Reserve Car" option, ie if you see that multimillion credit LM car you've been waiting for but don't have the credits you need (although with the current B-spec seasonal payouts that seems unlikely), you reserve it and lock it into the UCD until you have the dosh.

Agreed. That is a great idea.

For me I like the UCD concept. It was there since the very 1st GT title, so I don't think PD will abandon this feature anytime soon. Besides it's pretty much what gives car collecting its luster in the game, and a unique & differentiated feature from other driving games. But it is loosely related to catching Pokemon :p However it can be a pain, like for Skython's situation for the Motorsport Elise (I think I have one :p). Although in the end it can be very satisfying when it spawns in a neat slot. For me I'd rather not loose that feeling.

I'm just worried that when I finally get it I'll then be sitting in a yellow puddle of disappointment. If the UCD was a little more random it would be better, I've seen quite a few two of the exact same cars in the same colours quite often. I had two Chaparral 2J's I think, unfortunately I didn't have the money. :grumpy:
 
One of the enjoyable aspects of GT5 is looking to see what a refreshed UCD has in it. Hoping for a missing car to appear.

More random would be nicer, maybe updated eveytime the game is logged on would also be nice. Premiums that aren't in the NCD should appear very occasionally. If the player has Stealth and Chromeline - maybe very very occasionally appear in UCD (prefer they were added to NCD though).

Also, have a slightly different background colour for each days updated stock.

Pointless that they always need an oil change, from a dealer cars purchased should never need an oil change - its a silly feature these days
