Should there be license tests for NASCAR?

Then tell me how a 6 year old NASCAR game can still have a lot of people online and tournaments going on?

If you're wondering, the game I'm talking about is Nascar Racing 2003 Season.

Maybe because it was bought by the type of people who would want to play the crap out of that type of game and have few other options to turn to? Maybe becuase it's a one trick pony so those who would want to play other modes wouldn't have bought that? Maye because it didn't come in a package with a lot of other types of racing included? Maybe becuase GT fans tend to be tuner/super car type fans and less stock car fans?

Who knows... too many reasons to speculate...

I've done the oval challenges in GT4. There's nothing to them.

There are only tenths of a second between easy and impossible on an oval. Setting up a real challenge without making it almost impossible is going to be... well... challenging.

Bring it.

I've got All-Gold licenses in all 4 GTs. Make it impossible.

Good quote. Spot on. Kaz just mentioned this in the Gametrailers interview.

"NASCAR is raced at a level where even a slight difference in your driving will make a major difference and decide whether you win or lose."

It's referring to the A.I. and how it will adjust to you, specifically. But this will obviously translate to license tests if PD includes them.

Well it technically is, but so is every form of motorsport that doesn't have point to point tracks.

Indeed.

After all, isn't any circuit just a big circle that's stretched out to some degree and had a bunch of kinks put in it?
