This is a perfect example of where one of my suggestions for GT5 would be very useful. I think PD should make a feature in GT5 that lets you upload cars onto your pc in the same way that you can with photos in gt4 and then you can trade cars with people and put them back onto the ps2. You see if polyphony had done this with gt4 you'd have my 270R by now lol. There could be like a GTP Confidentials section.

Why would you ever sell it in the first place? It's not as if you could ever run out of garage space, I think the maximum is 1000 cars. I've yet to sell any of my cars, you never know when one of them will come in handy.

And for Chrissake people, use thumbnails if your pictures are oversized. 👎

As far as I know, the Sileighty isn't a Nissan production car.

The most solid theory is that Nissan sold them, but didn't actually build them. A company named Kid's Heart put together a small number of them, and they were sold through a handful of Nissan dealerships in Japan. So they're Nissan cars, sold through Nissan dealerships, but they didn't roll out of a Nissan factory with Sileighty badges on them. I assume that technicality is why they're not listed under Nissan in GT4.

Yes, those are some of the body swap combos you might see. But aside from the SilEighty, it should be obvious that none of those were ever 'production cars'.

I also think the name-chopping labels (Sil-1480.5-Via, etc) given to these conversions is kinda goofy. I saw a picture of an S14 with an S13 Silvia front end and S15 tails - it was described as a Sil-14.5, sooo lame...

The front of the Silvia was used due to expensive repair and maintanence costs of the flip up headlight front end of the 180SX and some tuners/ drifters grafted the 2 ends together..i think
