Yeah, I'm a bit shocked too. But I'm hoping it's worth it, unlike the school I went to previously that was nothing but a waste of time and money.

I heard a few stories that all the students is WORK AND STUDY. But they do help you land a job at one of the companies.

I did it again, $30 this time (sellouts :p), but there's no chimpanzee tattoo this time. :( ... Instead, I got this (well, still in the process of getting) from the Playstation store:

I haven't really been that impressed with their organization skills over there so far. The financial aid department kept calling me, asking me to complete my federal aid application....which had already been done a long time ago. Then they tried to tell me the school code on that application was wrong...which it was not. Got really irritating there for a while. :grumpy:

Yum. They really are as good as Dominoes, except for around 1/4 of the price (£3.47).

Got some on the way back from town today. When I say some I mean two, one for me and one for my brother. I'm going to tell him it cost a fiver :sly:

Because it would probably get banned in the UK due to being unfit for human consumption 💡

But seriously, food portions in the UK are far smaller than in the US. I read it in a book once, trust me, it's true.

The reason our obesity rate is just about as high as it is in the US is because we have eleven sugars in our tea, and drink 40 cups of tea per day.

What do you need 500mm focal length for? Birds? For most cases even my 300mm is too long.

Our obesity rate is still well below the USA, indeed the USA is well on it's own, though ours is still quite high. Thing is the whole system is flawed. Many professional rugby players are classified as obese. You can be obese and still be perfectly healthy.

I'd say the difference between the two countries is not only portion sizes, but US snacks are slightly different to ours.

Got it because it was cheap and it had a frequency Response of 25Hz to 25,000 Hz. Which means it will cover almost every part of the sound range humans can hear. Got a cheap one because it's going into a Ford Escort. I will be adding a basslink sub to the car if the seller still has it. For $40 the sub will be a steal.

My mom just got me some gel insoles so I can bear the pain of standing for hours during work. Hopefully they will work better than the old insoles which were a little thin. Sure the old insoles worked for when I had to walk to the school bus but now that I'm out of school and in work.
