...I really needed a proper pair of headphones as my $20 earbuds aren't great for when I'm just sitting at my computer. These were "cheap"($84 on Newegg) and had a very good rating so they should be good.

Which model is that exactly? I have the Sony MDR-V6; they are suppose to be studio monitors and I really like how they sound with all the different kinds of music that I listen to. Let us know what you think about it when you get it.
 
A 2.5mm male to 3.5mm female audio connector so my girlfiend can use regular earbuds with her phone:

Nah, I've got the Crater Lake vodka already, and I'm not much of a vodka person. You know what's as good if not better? Hot chocolate and Baileys, will be enjoying it soon :lol:

New car seat for the baby. My wife wants to get away from the bucket seats at a year old. I don't know why as they are still fine to use, but I don't complain because it means that I no longer have to move baby and seat to my car.

I sort of collect video game novelty candy tins. I have the Pac-Man candy tin, the NES controller mint tin, and the Wii controller gum tin as well. I need to get the PSP and Pac-Man ghost tins to have all the ones I know of.
 
Bought a Canon S95 for the GF, She is a more serious Photographer, and this is perfect for her to take around with her rather than the lugging the DSLR.

I went through and got my refund today..... so i went shopping.

We usually wait for the school refund before we do xmas so we actually have money. but i got that with her last name on it. (she did hyphenate her last name but it wouldnt fit.) and i got myself just a plain one. we are sparty fans lol U of M is cool and i root for them too but i love spartys too lol. i switch hit lol

oh and i paid rent for the next 4 months. so i am broke now lol
 
OMG, I spent an obscene amount of money today.

Firstly, I've ordered a replacement Sky HD box, only with a 2TB hard drive.

Secondly, my search for a new AV amp/speaker system reached its zenith, so I've ordered this:

Bowers & Wilkins. I'm a total fanboy of theirs. All of my speakers were made by them.
