One of the partners is a professional chef, the staff will be made up of local people as they need to speak Chinese.

Aha, so it was not like Missus Shem: "Hi, I got yourself a new job."

Good luck with it.

I recently bought round trip plane tickets to Europe on Air Canada leaving Seattle in early July and returning early September. I haven't really planned anything in between, so I'll be making a trip questions/planning thread later.

I went and got one of these.

(Not the girl, the mask)
It's a neoprene motorcycle mask.

I gave it a short run after I bought it and it seems to do the job of keeping my face warm, now I just need to test it in the morning when it's freezing.

You live in Australia.

This does not make sense.

It can get below zero in the outer suburbs of Melbourne overnight. When I started work at 7am I had to get up early to scrape the half inch thick ice off my windshield.

Half inch thick? I've never seen icing like that before... maybe snow?

Still, interesting...

Have you seen them before? I wasn't impressed when they supported Muse at Wembley but I've heard they are meant to be very good normally.

Yep - saw them when they supported the Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes last year, they played a full set and were most impressive.

:odd: 30 degrees in the UK is a heatwave. Fact.

Much like 10 degrees in the Antarctic is also a heat wave.

Maybe you shouldn't have chosen to move to a frickin' desert then, oh that's right, it wasn't a choice.

Polish those shoes and scrub those chimneys, nao!

2 tickets to Motley & Kiss in August. Looking forward to seeing Motley for the 4th time & Kiss for the first.

I have seen Motley Crue in concert many many years ago. A bit pricey but they put on an excellent show. Never seen kiss.

Nice. Any ideas at all?

Just ordered these two.

Have a copy of F3 and NV already, but I got a good deal and these work out cheaper than buying the DLC. HDD space is at a premium too, these games have it all on the disc.

Phew! I thought you were going to rob a bank or something.

Awww yeah.
800$. 25" Monitor, 8GB of Ram, 1TB HDD + my old HDD Finnaly installed correctly(ish). Only took close to 2 days of frustration to get evertything set.

Well, not really purchased, but an acquisition handed to me today by one of my vendors.

4 tickets to this weekends Cavalcade of Stars.

I was planning on attending this anyway, but this just made it much sweeter.:)

I registered a company. Obviously can't show you it as it's a company and not a thing. Tai Pan. Basically an official company that I can do all my business under; marketing, publishing, trading and pimping.

That is an HP laptop. I know because I used one of them before. From the fuzzy picture I see that it has a AMD Turion too.

I see. That laptop looks pretty interesting.

Yeah I can tell it's an AMD Turion too because I previously owned a laptop with that processor. Not all that good and it overheats easily especially when there is a graphic card (that's my case).
