So this is the first non-Canon camera I've bought in over 5 years (and I've bought quite a few cameras).

My last Canon 1400IS didn't really impress me all that much so I figured a change was in order. I had a Sony digital camera back in 2001 and it was a good camera, I just hated Sony's customer service (still do). The Sony point-and-shoots get great reviews though and I scored an awesome deal on the WX50, plus dat Carl Zeiss glass.
 
This one received a 1st place in an August 2012 review category 100-150 Euro compact cameras. Feature list and a good online offer forced me to buy it.
I needed a good, handy pocket camera. My SLR sometimes is just too bulky and heavy.

Got me this as my TV is not reading the HDMI from my PS3 anymore despite the HDMI is working on the other TV. $7.98 with shipping.

You reminded me that that game came out today. I bought it a few hours ago, and had a quick spin. I didn't bother buying F1 2011 because I regret buying 2010, but this new game is far better in every possible way. I'm enjoying it so far. 👍

Some nice 1/18's on this page, too. :)

Thanks. Bad news is that I won't be getting it until Monday. Seems that newegg was too late on fixing the order to send it out last night and Fedex does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays so I'm forced to wait. It's no problem as I can wait. Ordered this after I ordered the phone.

I would bet its for this but from the last picture it looks like it has a CD player (maybe broken or like the one in my truck that will not play recorded cd's)

Brief update - car collected from dealer this morning.

All went very smoothly, and they didn't faff with paperwork more then they had too. They had replaced the two front tyres with new ones (albeit with locally made brands - still a $200 saving for me), given the inside a nice detail and thrown in a free Honda teddy bear and golf umbrella too. 👍

I sorted out transferring rego too this morning, so after checking fluid levels (all ok), giving the owners manual a once over, throwing in some new car mats and playing around with a few things as chaps do, I took it for its first proper run.

I am really chuffed with it, I must admit. I never thought I'd get excited about a Camry, but as a luxuried up appliance car, its brilliant. There are a few groans going over large humps in the road (suspension bushing I am guessing) and the alignment is slightly out (pulls to the right a bit) but otherwise it's tight as a drum. It fairly picks up its skirt and moves when you give it horns for an overtake, I was pleasantly surprised at how much. I supposed it is 141kw, but I didnt think it would be as enjoyable to use as it is.
