Sorry, no interior shots until I paint over the pink feature wall in the living room and rip off the dark green and gold textured wallpaper in the bathrooms

:P

Good! lots of room to park. haha.

New cordless drill.

To replace my old 14v Hitachi drill.
Goodbye my old friend, you gave me 9 years of loyal service and you fought hard to the end. Sure we had some rough times together, like when you where so hot that I couldn't hold you with bare hands. I'll never forget the times that I worked you too hard and you would emit smoke. That final fire incident was sadly the final straw.

RIP old buddy :(, may your new big brother be as loyal.

Cheers Shaun.

One should never jest about how close a man and his tools can become.

Cheers Shaun.

You've been duped. That's a '4' ;)

Was just thinking the same thing  that's probably a old picture though. I assume he did get a 5.

Klipsch RS4i. Certainly pretty decent, but that iOS compatible mic is pretty expensive. The sound needs some tweaking to work for me, but they're certainly fairly good for the price, all things considered. But there's also certainly better sound for the money...

On the other hand;
Two of these:
AzTech Powerline adaptor 85Mbps Turbo (so my Xbox 360 can finally have internets)

and three (for $20!) Valore 3-in-1 styluses.

Well, I guess this is cheating a bit, but I had forgotten about this thread for a long time, and I would've posted periodically rather than condensing it all in one post. So, here goes...

My baby :3

Bought this back in the beginning of summer, dropped a whopping $1430 on it (gulp).

It's been performing admirably (as I should expect it should!), and finally fulfilled my dreams of getting a nice computer. I know, could've saved money and built a desktop, blah blah blah, save me the lecture.

I bought a nice mouse to go along with it. I don't play WoW, but it was the biggest mouse I could find for a reasonable price, and it's very comfy. I could use an even bigger one, but they start going north of $100....so no.

Also bought a keyboard that I used when I had my laptop hooked up to my 47", but I've since lost the TV to my parent's living room, so it's got no use at the moment.

Afterwards, I felt I needed yet another set of headphones (I currently have six eight counting the ones I broke, soon to be seven nine::dunce:) These have very nice, controlled bass, very pleasant listening to dubstep or other dance music, and fashionable enough to not feel like a putz wearing them in public.

Finally, I bought something actually useful (haha) and got myself a bike! It's my other baby...I ride the crap out of this thing, it's great.

Then...yes, I had to add it to my collection, okay! Only 2 left to get...

The purchases I actually made a few days ago include these. The Zellers in Nanaimo is closing down and closing out, selling everything (the store was literally almost empty), so I got this for 40% off the sticker price. A real movie...

And this little thing.

More news on why I bought that coming soon.

Awww, man, I was actually thinking about those V-Moda cans of sexy, until I noticed they actually had a design fault...

A real shame, because otherwise they're a fantastic set, and they even have a removable cord and replacements, which is what I was looking for. Super good looking, too.

Edit: That is, unless they replaced those pieces with actual, real metal, in which case there should be no flaw at all and they'll be a thing of beauty.

He doesn't mention if the ones he has are the LPs or the M-80s. If that happens I can always send them back. :p

So I left those Klipsch RS4s burning in off the iPad in the other room for the last six hours, and it feels as if they've changed massively... The 8kHz doesn't feel so congested, the soundstage has widened madly too...

Not sure if it's just my head playing with me though.......

Enjoy. There's 20 hours left on the Macheist bundle too, lots of useful productivity programs and games.

I would make sure whether that particular defect was fixed, be it via metal replacement part or other means, before dropping $150-$200 on 'em. I got the photo from an Amazon page, where I first discovered this. Same guy that is quoted in the forum posted on Amazon, I believe on the product page of the LP's specifically, talking about the problem and pointing it out in pictures. You can check it yourself if you like.

Otherwise, those are some of the best-looking 'phones, I've seen in a while, make the ones I'm getting look like they're out of the stone age...but more on that.
