Lol, thanks. I grabbed it a couple years ago when I first got into game collecting, and it was very much a thought of "if I don't grab it now, I might not see it again."Good Lord... 130$, now that's commitment right there! My respect to you for going that far to get that game.
Since then, I've seen it pop on eBay a couple times, usually going for more than what I paid for it, so I think I made out ok on that front.
My guess has always been that, since the Concept games were basically showcases of the '01 Tokyo, '02 Seoul and '02 Geneva Motor Shows in their respective releases, and the majority of significant car reveals at those shows tended to lean way more on the European and Asian side of things, there probably wasn't enough content that would get the interest of an American audience, save for maybe the GT40 Concept Car. Between that and GT4s development being well underway, it probably wasn't worth it for Sony/PD to print the sub-series for North America. But why did they choose to not release GT Concept in the USA? I could never understand this... it just baffles me, I mean is the European market that much important to PD (or is the American market not attractive enough for them) to make them ignore the american customers or was it something else?
We might never know...
Now, the one that gets me is why there was never a North American release of GT4 Prologue, considering that the game was made specifically because GT4 ended up being pushed back from its original Christmas '03 release date.
