Delaminated headlight lenses looked awful, so a bought a new set of lamp units, these have some nice metallic amber accents. 4 10mm bolts and the job’s a good’un.
Now my car doesn’t have a glazed eye stoner look.
Must get round to painting that front bumper. As much everyone likes Initial D, that isn’t the look I’m going for.
Also picked up 10 Mickey Mouse platies to go around my various ponds and aquariums.
3 escaped immediately, 2 of those were rescued but one flopped off of the terrace 5m up. He went splat. Food for the birds now.
At the same fish shop I picked up a bucket of red root floaters and a bucket of salvinia.

Edit: totally forgot the hamster environment I constructed last weekend for my daughter’s 7th birthday.
Initially the plan was a bearded dragon, but it’s too high maintenance for a kid. Then we looked at Guinea pigs but they don’t like this tropical climate. Eventually we settled on a group of 5 female hamster siblings. There’s not a evening that my daughter isn’t trying to put them on her face or make them eat seeds. I’ve cautioned her to be gentle or we’ll end up with extra cat food. They are super cute though.
All 5 are currently sleeping in 1 terracotta house.
We bought an extra exercise wheel today because 5 hamsters on 1 wheel is hilarious, but probably not good for them.
