I bought a Meta Quest 3 (512Gb) on Sunday. Now I know why some members won't play 2D games anymore.

Monday was spent playing some dismal free games and watching 3D videos as I set it up.
Tuesday I played ACC, AC EVO, AC Rally, F1 25, Dirt Rally 2 and EA WRC on a controller.
Tuesday night I spent looking for the socks it blew off.
Wednesday I hooked up my wheel and played them all again, OMG.

If you are sitting on the fence and can afford it, just do it, I wish I'd bought one sooner.
 
Nebraska is half price on Steam for American Truck Simulator, so I've snapped it up. That just leaves Iowa, Louisiana and Missouri to pick up for me to be up to date.

So far, in 2 months, I've  nearly finished ONE state (Colorado) and only have 16 left to do :lol:

Please tell me North Dakota isn't on that list. Talk about a damn boring drive!
 
A new recliner I bought from Ducky’s Office Furniture. It’s a $2500 chair they bought for pennies on the dollar when a competitor went out of business. Ducky’s was selling it for $300. But when I arrived, they were having a warehouse sale and I got it for $150.

For the past 4 years I've been using my Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X, but they were plagued with manufacturing defects that led to the headband literally falling apart. They just fell off my desk and they fell apart. I can 3D print something for a repair, but I feel like it's just best to get ahead of it and replace. I've known of Hifiman for a long time, along with Schiit, so I'm excited and a little frustrated I had to do this in this fashion.
 
What did I say last time? Didn't I tell everyone to stop buying cans? :lol:

If I weren't back on my model kick, though I guess I can set aside something for a new pair of headphones as it's been a while. I can not buy a Gundam model for once, right?
 
I checked the XBox store and Ride 5 is 85% off. Just $7.49 for the base game and $11.99 for the Special Edition. The Special Edition includes the Season Pass, credits multiplier, and the following packs: Welcome, King of the Hills, Short Track, Dreamer’s Garage, Racing Icons, Born to Race, and Speed with Style. That’s an $80 game and over $100 worth of add-ons, all for 12 bucks. I admit I’m not an economist, but that seems like a pretty good deal.

Missouri was 30% off and I buckled :lol:

Still it means I can do most of Route 66 now and recreate this photo virtually (apart from the Illinois bit at the top which is the next DLC release, and the 50th state which is a looong way off..

Luckily, they haven't got there yet (they havent even done SOUTH Dakota yet) ;)
