My folks house sits on a ridiculous slope along the peak of the Hills in Berkeley overlooking the Bay Area. Fortunately, their garage entrance is at the top of the house, rather than the bottom, so the driveway is quite normal... except for the fact that it is above their three-story house... which means a long walk down. When I was a teenager I tried to talk them into letting me put in a firepole from the garage down to the yard, tried being the operative word here.

While it means lots of stairs, and a huge landscaping challenge, one nice thing is you get an incredible view... and a walkout basement. 👍

yep, it's a manual. Not going to lie, I kind of miss my automatic bimmer, was nice not to have to worry about shifting but I did get tired of slamming my left foot into the floor thinking there was a clutch there every time I stepped into it. Manual is just more fun to drive though and I'll get even better gas mileage so I'll take it.

the paint is in amazing condition, there are some very tiny dents here and there but nothing out of the ordinary for a 10 year old car. Overall great condition. I just cleaned the hell out of it today and it smells minty fresh. Or Vanillaroma fresh at least.
