How? Is it just like that on the standard car or something?

Here's my newest drift project. Its great at 350hp an all the way up over 500. Mine is the one with the TE37's

Rear camber? Do you know anything about drift tuning?
This dude is right, rear camber should never really go past 2 degrees, it's the front that needs camber (Personally I usually have around 1.0 rear & 3.0 front, and that's actually close to what a lot of drifters in BDC use).

I've never touched camber on my cars. Are you supposed to have camber on your drift cars?

Yes! The right amount of front camber helps you hold a drift, too little will mean you might catch grip which messes up your entire drift. Also, the more front camber you have the quicker your turn in will be (the amount of time between steering from a straight line to drifting position).

You don't really want much rear camber (but I would recommend 0.7-1.0, because I find this gives you the most stability during the drift, while keeping your acceleration in touch). The most you'll ever need on the front is 3.0-3.5 to maintain angle without the car swaying around.

Obviously though it's not just camber that needs to be looked at, L.S.D is important too, and your springs/toe settings, but I won't get into that because it will be another 5 paragraphs :nervous:

If I want a car to be fast I use very little camber rear, only up to 0.5 so it has forward push, if I want a car to be smooth I just wiggle a bit around the 1.0 mark.

Oh, and by the looks, 3.0 in game looks like 5.0 degrees camber IRL.

Funnily enough, yes I do. I set my Jag up to handle exactly how I want it to, and it holds corners extremely well with totally stock parts (other than suspension.) :irked:

Hey. I just got my PS3 and GT5, and I wanted to show off some of my cars, but it says that they're invalid files:mad:. Got any ideas:idea:?

Huuuuuuuuuuusky you know i was joking girl! :scared:

Look what i've started... To everyone that's commented. There is no "set" way to tune. It also comes down to how you drive! I mean you might have a perfect tune for your, say "RX-7 FD Spirit" but i might feel that i'd want it looser or i might want it a bit slower for what to me would feel easier to control.

If she rides 5 rear camber then she rides 5 rear camber.

Heck, i used to ride 10 front and rear. ;)

Husky i miss you lets cruise soon stop working nights already. :grumpy:

You may need to edit the pictures to be smaller in file size and/or actual picture size. The limit on GTP is 500 kb with a max size of 800 x something pixels. Look at the pics in my album to see size of a photo within these boundaries

Thanx jrkiwiboy. I'll see if it works.

By the way, how would I go about doing that. I tried to edit them from My Pictures but it says they're not valid bitmap files. Sorry, but I'm kinda new to this.

No problem, have you uploaded the files to a site like Photobucket? From there you just insert the link they provide using the "Insert Image" or Insert Link on your reply window depending on which link format you copied from the Photobucket gallery page.

It's free to sign up and upload your photos, then just copy the links they provide for you to each photo then add them in your reply. Hope this helps.

A few of my new drift toy... though I'm really getting annoyed with drifting on comfort tyres, they suck!

And my first drift car when on the MUCH more favoured sports tyres! Was about lap 3 in this race where I started getting loose and decided to try out more drift events.
