Jordan, what are the new rules on signatures?

I got an error saying size and center is not allowed, and a max of 4 lines when I went to adjust mine.

So, now we can't use smaller text sizes to fit more in?

I'll post the new signature limits once I have them finalized. You should still be able to make font sizes smaller than the default, just not larger.

Its most likely from the upgrade. Jordan said theres quite a few things that are broken. Give him time to get it taken care of.

Well, my sig uses size=1, but GTP wouldn't allow me to save changes... :|

The size works now, but I still can't have it centered like it was before the upgrade

This is a totally unreleated issue, but what happened to the quick reply box? I swear it was on when I first logged on browsing through some threads. I went to the User CP and browsed some of my new subscribed topics and when I was browsing I noticed the quick reply box was gone.

IF I can't make the text larger, that means I will have to get rid of the Button symbols from my sig, as the square is size=4

yes i have had a simular problem just then when i went to edit my sig with centering the text... down the bottom i read that signature permissions have been changed... might have something to do with it?

I think the space for signature is too big, or last enter is also included in signature? maybe the signature should be trimmed before saving.

nevermind, it only show like that in Opera 7.5. It's ok on Internet Explorer 5.0

It's not 1 point. 1 is normal size. You cannot make the text in your signature larger than normal.

Firefox does the same thing for me, big empty space below some sigs.

It only occurs when the post and sig combined is shorter than the user-bar on the side.

Jordan, you might want to disable Youtube code for signatures.

As a test, I put Youtube code in, pressed preview, and voila! Youtube frame.

Don't want everybody embedding videos in their sigs now, do we?

I would, but I actually don't have the option available to prevent custom bb code from being used in signatures. It's a pretty big oversight by the vB developers which others have noticed and I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it is included in a future release. Nevertheless, if anyone does use it, we will simply edit their signature and inform them that it is not allowed.
