That's very impressive - I have no idea how long it took me to get that 1.56.7 but I think it was something like 1000km ... That series was my first challenge series, so I had a long way to go, really got to know Monaco in that race. :D

I've updated your time in the original thread:

http://www.gt3times.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=70169#70169

My replay of the 1.56.7 is there and you can download it as .wmv from daan's site, so you can at least see what my splits are.

Have problems with .wmv files (use a mac hoooked up to fast connection for downloading vids)

WOW 4th best time :D :D :D

Yep, should at the very least encourage you to get that #3 spot :D

not to mention No 2

Managed to find your replay......nice lap :D did you adjust the ASM and TCS settings out of interest?? Currently running with TCS set at 3 or 4 and ASM set to nothing.

I know I can do a quicker time just keep bashing barriers or ****ing up the last corner (watched the replay back and theres a few laps where I'm well in front of the ghost and loose all the time in the last corner :irked: )

you've got a half second advantage over my best lap in the first sector and a 9/10 ths in the second wow

really getting to know my way round monaco now had only done the minimum required in the races round there :D

maybe its time to move onto SSR11 in a NSX type R with the obligatory sims fitted ;)

Woah, so I left .5 seconds in the final section? :D Interesting ... Yeah, after this race, Monaco became one of my best tracks. :D EDIT: Oh, you should be able to tell from the replay what my TCS/ASM settings were, but ASM is bound to have been 0 and TCS 1 or 2 at most. Probably best to drive with 0. :D

I would say from looking at my replay that you lost your half through the second half of the swimming pool. Some how I managed to nail it and managed 10Km/h quicker exit speed than on most of my hotlaps, wish I could repeat it. :irked: but still going to keep trying ;)

managed to crack the 56 barrier at last but only just (1:56.974) at least it was clean :D

Had a poor first sector of 33.116 nice second sector of 1:26.506 and the third was just about OK.

Just need to sort that first sector out now :banghead: :irked:

nice one! you're getting dangerously close :D

Said I was always up for a challange..........just a shame nobody else is :(

On another note I have been looking into the Clio V6 racecar and the trophy that it competes in. It just so happens that they held a round at Monaco in the 2002 season. Best Qualifying time 1:49.613..............may have to have a go in the racecar.....on sims of course :D

:D That Racecar drives a lot better than this Clio. Might join you depending on if you keep it stock or not. ;)

If you post that race as a challenge on GT3Times, I know there are a few active die-hard Sim Tire fans who do nothing rather ... on this site there are more Arcady type folk. :D

looks like i'm off to register at GT3 times :D

Clio race car challange would be as it is bought from the dealer think it comes with semi racing suspension and you also have the ability to adjust downforce...not sure an oil change would be allowed as the real clio V6 race cars weigh in at 1150kg and produce 285bhp at 7800rpm

What do you think?? :D

allow the oil change ... otherwise fine. I've just been driving the car at Monaco, with the only difference being a full suspension and T8 tires two days ago to test a little for an OLR racing team on a german website and I've been fooling around a little with it on Apricot Hill (tough track for Sims!) earlier, just to have fun. I love the white car. :)

registered at gt3 times :D

I'll post over there soon..........

this sounds like fun ill have a go at some of this no grip sim racing right now lol. :)(:

o and how do you guys make those sweet little heads bagin on walls and stuff this is off topic but i have to kno

sim tyres are a lot of fun.......once the game starts to get a bit boring :D

To add smilies just click on the face in the smilies box :p ;) :D

How good is a 1:58.424 after 76 miles of driving?
