One of the best races I had so far:

Game: SimRaceWay on PC
Controller: DualShock 3 via MotionInJoy
Assists: None, except Auto Clutch

Online race in the F2P game SimRaceWay, first time I drove the car in the game.
Sorry for some of the graphic bugs, I lowered the details in favour of the framerate

Some nice driving, especially for using a gamepad. When I try driving with a pad I'm completely lost, which is a shame as I was pretty good at Gran Turismo 4 using PS2 gamepad, beat the game 100% through with all golds, since I got a wheel all of that has gone right out the window. Anyway tomorrows Test Drive Tuesday car will be the Lexus LFA

Thanks!

Can't wait to try the LFA, potential buy.

Probable buy for me, I've been eyeing it for a while. The 2000GT and Furai are the other two probables, the 2000GT has been in the TDT before though so I don't know how long it'll take to come up again.

Aye I'l definitely be grabbing the LFA, been wondering about getting it since the Top Gear episode a couple weeks back so I was happy to see it! Got a fair few credits and money on my account but not really sure what to spend it on, I quite fancy the Koenigsegg Agera R but neither the credits nor money stretch that far!

I just had a go of the Lexus LFA, have to say I love it! It's already one of my favourite cars in the collection, car is just so well balanced and goes where you point it, can get the back end out and powerslide it around corners like a dream!

Safe to say I bought it, wish I'd got it sooner now!

I kinda want it because it drives good and I like the LFS but I'm disappointed with some things. The rev counter doesn't light up when hitting the limiter, the headlights don't work properly, the taillights glitch through the body and for some reason, the game crashes for me in the Hot Lap event.

You should mention those glitches on the forums, I also found a glitch where the engine noise was cutting out between 3000-4000 rpm on the way down, while I was stationary revving it in neutral. I also had a game crash in one of the quick races at Kentucky I did with it, though the other 3 races were fine along with a race at Watkins Glen and the Hotlap event there.

I bought it anyway, despite small niggles these are all things that can be easily fixed with an update, the car itself drives great.

Uploaded my Watkins Glen quick race, got rammed by some idiot into the first corner but then fought back to take the lead, driving is a bit messy as It was the first time I'd jumped into the car.

Still though had loads of fun and with an uncompetitive field it atleast made things interesting.

I won all races I did at Watkins unless someone crashed me.
The car is nice, but I'd rather wait for a discount on one of the cheaper race cars.
I don't have much cash left and I am trying to play completely for free.

Bazz, that was pretty awesome, I love the bit with the wheel just popping up onto your windscreen. Not a single fudge given.

Just signed up and downloaded it, installed it. Did a few laps around silverstone in the Lan EvoX. I like this sim so far. Looking forward to spending money on it lol.

The Jaguar XK120 has been added today, $1.20 (or 1200cr) with a free test drive today only. I love this thing in real life so I'm at least going to give it a quick go.

Tomorrows Test Drive Tuesday car (19th feb) is the Mclaren F1 LM!

Since I already own the car, here is a video I made a while back

Oh, go on then... $6.25 is more than I'd usually pay for a car but that does look pretty good. And it's a McLaren F1.

That McLaren F1 LM handles very nicely. Did some races at Chicagoland with it after I ran some laps at Silverstone as well.

Another week, another car release - this time it's the Audi R8 LMS ultra, which costs $4.40.

Like the last few car releases, it's free to try for the first 24 hours... however, seeing as there are some GT3 Multi Car quick races, it isn't the only car available to test drive today, as the two other GT3 cars currently in the game (BMW Z4 GT3 & McLaren MP4-12C GT3) are also available for testing today. There's two multicar GT3 races available today, one at Silverstone and the other at the newly released Daytona Speedway Road Course (there's also an R8 only race on the Oval).

Drove the R8 Ultra today. Pretty good. Very stable at Daytona on the oval.. even at speeds of 210mph+. Handles really nicely as well.

Also drove the Z4 GT3 in the Daytona GT3 race. I had no idea the car was so slow compared to the R8 (not sure about the MP4-12C since I haven't driven it or raced against it).

If I had money to spend on this game, I wouldn't hesitate on that deal.

Also, the Asphalt Modified at Daytona is insanity. 215-230mph in the draft, but I have to say, the slipstream physics in the game are outstanding. I tried a few times to make a move on a car I was following and the car behind didn't go with me, so I lost speed by ducking out of the draft, and the only time i managed to make a pass was when two cars got separated and I had a run on them.

I've got the Atom, 'Handful' doesn't quite do it justice but get it out of 2nd gear and you're laughing. I think there's been an update since I last drove it though.

New client update available.
