Since now we will have Spa, why not F1 Classics?

We won't be seeing any more McLarens in the GT series...they just signed a deal with some computer sim company to build a sim around every car they ever built....including ALL their classic F1 cars. Autoweek had an article on it on Friday...

Good reference, but the article doesn't specify exclusivity, so there's still a chance we could get more McLarens.

Kimi's F2007 is enough for me :) but if I could have more F1 cars I'd love some of F1 legends such as Clark, Lauda, Piquet, Prost and Vettel.
 
How about PD make their own f1 cars for each generation of f1 wih a bunch of liveries. And the old spa.

No! that will be like raping history! we need actual cars or nothing imo. The FGT and Red Bull X cars are ok since they're unique concepts to be the best possible at their times.
 
FIA GT3, Dakar Rally, DTM as official licenses, and also licenses for Le Mans, F1, D1 Grand Prix, and the most unlikely, F1. Maybe some Formula 3 and other endurance races. I mean, they got WRC, Super GT, and NASCAR licenses, why not some more? They already have some of the cars from the respecting series I stated above, so surely, they can just acquire the licenses too?

Getting a license for a certain franchise or car, is more than just talking to who ever holds the rights. It costs money as well. And lots of it, if I might add.
 
Yeah they are, Group C is also fun at Spa. I have some Targa Florio like courses that are fun in 60's and 70's prototypes, and also modern LMP's are fun like a modern Targa Florio Race
 
I'd like to see classic tracks, especially those that have been retired over the years. The old configuration of Monza as well as Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Interlagos, Paul Ricard, etc.

GT5 already has tons of cars. Adding a dozen at the next update doesn't do nearly as much to grow the series and appeal than adding some nice tracks would.
 
I absolutely agree about the tracks. At the end of the day I tend to favor five or six cars, I may be in the minority there, but I can only see using a couple of the DLC cars. I would like more classic race cars of every racing series, but give me more tracks. For my money I would like Silverstone and Bathurst, or I guess I should say Mount Panorama Circuit. But honestly I'm happy with any real world circuit. Oh bring back Seatle! Again probably in the minority but I loved that track and they took it away from me.

I agree with that, I do have a question about the new "Spa" circuit, I have raced on it with "iRacing" and "F1 2011" for the PC. How does GT5 version of "Spa" stack up against other versions such as the ones I mentioned?

PD has some F1 cars already... the ones from GT3... Why they don't bring them back is a mystery... :confused: Maybe some license issues... IDK...
