Sim racing has moved on for the most part.

Again, the fact that these games are still well regarded, updated, and played should be proof enough that they have a place in the modern age.

And it surely doesn't stop my initial point that some elements of this forum (yourself included) look at GT in a way that makes it seem like the progenitor, when there were sim racing games coming out long before GT released, and in fact, GT wasn't at all more realistic at the time then TOCA.
