Please actually read threads before you go off half-cocked. It has been mentioned several times that you will not lose any current features when GTPP is released.

Look at the top of GTP, theres a nice pretty dark blue banner that says the same exact thing.

Don't you get it? GTPremium will be like an extra, you have to pay for something cool. Like Jordan said, if you don't use GTPremium, none of the current features on the board's will be lost.:p

What do you mean by 'where the hell is it'? Where is what? He thought you meant when is GTP6 due to come out, yet you answered your own question.

Is anyone eligible for the Extra Premium service or is it just going to be available to sensible people?
 
I Have 2 questions about GTP6.

1. About The premium service, you said it was going to be a monthly fee, is that all the options avalible? i mean, it would be very cool if there were subscription plans for say 1,3,6 Month or year long subscriptions where you would get a slight discount for getting a 3 month subscription over 3 one month subscriptions.

2. While mucking around with a copy of vB3 i noticed a "User Reputation System" where user's could rate others posts, and the user being rated would have an image depicting there reputation.
will this be enabled on GTP6?

No, I think Jordan wants to recover some of his investment, and to do that he will need to ensure that his market is as open as possible.

I'm not a moderator but I can safely say that the person behind the usernames didn't change his attitude - he just came back with a new name and carried right on where he left off. We've seen people get banned and come back with a new attitude - not often, but we have - and they're usually given their three strikes back. akina didn't - why should he have 6 strikes allowed to him just because he changed his username? He shouldn't. He was given one chance to prove himself reformed - stranger things have happened - and he blew it. Bye bye.

This thread is no place for pathetic bickering or banning debates. Stop it now or some of you won't be looking at the new site at all. Spock, different subscription plans may very well be a possibility. And no, "User Reputations" will not be enabled. And yes, daan, GTPremium will be open to everyone.

Yeah, last time gtp was down for a long period of time i was hospitalized due to a severe case of "Real Life Over Dose". it sucked
 
All I just want to say is that for my debut to this category of topics, I'll be looking forward to the next GTP. If GT4's completion isn't forthcoming, then the next evolution of this site is certainly forthcoming.

A toast to Jordan! Too bad I can't do the smiley for that.
 
What exactly do we get if we choose to pay? Why should we pay? How will the site be different for me if I choose to pay, I mean why would I want to pay for a few extra features?
