Hey y'all

Anyone else out there enjoy the Skyline as much as I do? Tell me about your Skylines! What's the power like, what type of style are you runnin' on your Skylines? Tell us all about 'em

My third car was a GT-R34 V-spec II, i souped it up to 1084 HP and all the trimmings, and i loved it.Eventually, i won the Pennzoil Nismo GT-R and the Loctite Zexel GT-R and now after some work on the Zexel, it's my true honey. It's FR if you didn't notice, and i think it handles better than the stock skylines. I also like the Mine's Skyline, but haven't worked on it much do to me being in love with my Loctite.

Yea,

My Skyline currently has 1072hp, I'm almost close to you on that. I haven't gotten any of the Skylines you're talking about yet. I guess I have you play some more. Anyway I'll keep playing. I think that the Skyline in general is one of the best and fastest car's on this game. IT'S CRAZY-FAST!

Yeah, trust me, if you play the game enough, the cars start coming to you...and then....well then you really see how powerful these things get.

Here's my Skyline right here.

Thud. :D

Hope you enjoy it as much as you enjoy your other Skylines.

Yea,

My Sky takes off like a rocket. I even beat my brother who has a 3000GT which goes 263MPH top speed. It's all cuz the acceleration on the Skyline kicks all ass!

AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Damn dude. I'm crying after reading that :D:cry::D

I'm not anti-skyline, I was just laughing at his post.

I like the Skyline, I like it's looks, I like it's awesome acceleration, I just can't seem to get 'em to turn good. I don't hate them though...

Oh i know, that's cool, it was a funny post, im not raggin on you or anything. I just love how personal some people can be about their cars. I only mentioned you cus i remember you talkin about the bad handling associated with them (which they do have, for a while)

My third car was a dark blue R32 Skyline. It's a beautiful thing. I also won the Nismo R32 but I haven't hopped it up yet. I won it in Gunmetal Grey, does anyone have it in another color?

I think anyone who owned or owns a skyline is a tru racer. THose cars are tru race cars i had the skyline gtr-v-specII(R34 J) it was a good car but i sold it, i had all the trimmings on it.

My Skyline turns like a dream. It only has 1072HP on it, and a top speed of like 230mph. Have a stock Skyline GT-R V-spec II (R34). Is that it's peak HP count? Or can I squeeze a little more out by breaking it in some more?

I have mine sittinf really low, just not so low that the car starts bouncing when the tires hit the inside of the wheel well. I have my Anti-Roll bars set on 4 or 5 front and rear. Oh the key is camber angle, set it to like 3 degrees front ad rear. What that does is tilt the tire in, so that the inside part of the tire is in contact with the ground on a turn which gives you more corning abilty. NOTE: Doing that might slightly drop the top speed of the car down. It won't drop the top speed too much at all. Also you have to remember the proper way to take a corner. All those things help out alot.

A few tips in tuning the skylines are:
1.  For the general models, buy the Variable center differential under stability control and others.  Then choose settings before you race.  Under VCD controller, set it to 20 or 30%  That should make it handle a little more like a FR car.  Oh and turn off the ASM.
2. For Skyline Race cars (love my Calsonic) turn off the ASM.
3. Turn off the Active Stability Management (ASM)
4. Did I mention the ASM?

This should work for the majority of the people out there, and anyone else that began the game with a PT cruiser knows exactly what I mean. (Or they are probably still trying to beat the sunday cup)

how did you adjust your setting..how fast did you get it to go and also how is the turning now....?

I have an r32 Skyline, a Nismo 400R, and a Calsonic Skyline.  To tell the truth the only one i really use is the Calsonic.  It is a good car, and i think it is better than the Loctite.  I had the choice of either a Loctite or a Calsonic, and i took the Calsonic(from the All Japanese GT Championship in Amateur league).

About 6 years ago when I was inbetween Job's I took a driving job at the Nissan Test Proving gounds in Chandler Arizona.. I saw a Few Skylines that were there for Exessive Heat testing.. I was never able to test one, I was however given the chance to Test Drive the FairLady - (Basically same as the SkyLine - same engine -  Not Twin Turbo though) and not all wheel drive) but Oh My God! handles like a dream and garanted to throw you into the back seat.  I was able to get it up to 188 Klicks though.. and then the Pucker effect was getting to me.

I would still be there if it wasent for the Pay (12 bucks an hour in Phoenix aint enough)

I just wish the US would just go ahead and let the Fairlady and Skyline get over here..

You can buy the Older Model Skyline's (Late 80's) but that twin turbo is really something to listen to!

I just started racing my Skyline GTR Vspec II R32 that I won in the Beginner G.T. World Championship.  I performed every engine modification and oil change and got the car to 876 hp  How mmuch more power will come out of her.
Also I Uped the displacement but when I checked the stats the displacement was the same 2,5XXcc.  Did this change?
What is the Skyline that people have with 1000+ hp?
