The:nissan:Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec ll in Bay Side Blue Metallic with its 😈 loking lights, has to be the best looking car on the game :nissan:

Handles like snot on a doornob though...(in the game) But it is indeed sweet-looking.

It is a nice looking car but doesnt drive very good...I still like the Lancers better though...By the way Welcome to :gtp: R34 King

Hello everyone
Totaly agree with u 100% just love this car, seems some of u people have a prob handling this car, I did as well and compared to how it handles in GT2 it is totaly different but I put this down to the cars in GT3 handling more like the real cars than ever before. so my advice is drive the cars as u would drive for real, and slow down on those bends after all the A.I. cars in the game do.
cheers to u all
Zidane.

 Why are people saying that the skyline and the rgt handle bad :thatsodd: They don't handle bad I have spent hours and hours on tunning these two cars to there peak performance and once you get it right then they are pretty much the best cars on the game

Sorry, my description is something along the lines of "badly behaved shopping trolley". The Skyline in the B-8 licence is the number 1 reason why it's so tough.

I can't stand driving it. I can't say that I like even the Calsonic Skyline. I can get around a *lot* faster in my Mazda 787B. Sorry.

I have spent hours and hours on tunning these two cars

Well, that speaks for itself, having to spend all that time on tuning means that it's well out of whack to start with.

I would have to say that the Skylines are probably some of the best cars in the game. They all look damn good and they handle pretty good to and all the S Class ones handle awesome. The Pennzoil is probably my Fav car.

I think that the RGT handles SO much better than the Skyline. I find that the best way to keep the Skyline handling well, is to loosen up the suspension more than you might think. The Lotus Esprit, Zonda, SO many cars handle better than the Skyline but the Skyline still is very good. I would not suggest any more than 600hp for the Skyline to still have REAL drivability.

Uh - given that one is an entrant in a domestic touring car series, and the other a full war spec Le Mans car, I should hope you'd be a *lot* faster in the 787B.

Big HP Skylines respond very well to diff work and a little touch of toe out at the rear to assist with turn-in. I have a full war-spec R34 that I can hustle around Apricot Hill very quickly.

Hey vat_man it sounds like you have your r34 tuned real good.........if you wouldnt mind could you tell me what you have done e.g list everything :D

Remind me in a week - I don't have the net on at home (just moved) at the moment, I'm accessing from work. More than happy to share.

It wasn't meant as a fair comparison. What I was getting at was that once you drive a car that goes like stink and handles as well as the 787B, a Skyline feels pretty ordinary.

I still stand by my "badly behaved shopping trolley" remark. After B-8, I don't want to *see* another Skyline . Damn Red Emblem races. Still, not as bad as Silver Arrow . Just.

Would it be controversial to mention that I don't think they are the bonniest cars about either?

the key for driving a skyline is to powerslide right when you're braking, then use the momentum to do more powerslide by gas it gently.

I won all the beginer, amateur, endurance and some championships at pro with a 1051 skyline gt-r vspecII r34.

I won about 85% of the eligible races in Beginner and Amateur with my very first car: 1989 Red Mazda Miata with 375hp. I have every mod for it now, but at the time I was still building it up. I will never sell it and I think that it handles the 375hp very niceley. I was surprised that the little 1.6L 4 could handle that much hp but if you go to www.miata.org it shows that real life miatas have bolt on turbo kits of around 350hp.

I think the R32 generation looks better that R30, R31, R33, R34 and R35 Skylines.

Yeah. I do not like the R35 at all.
I saw a really awesome design for one in the skylinesdownunderforums.com but unfortunately, it doesn't look as though it will turn out like that. :(

Yeah thats where I seen them... they were weird lookin... r31s I love... obviously cause I have 2. r32s are ok r33s are wicked and r34s are ok.

:nissan: Skyline is a sweet drive :gcar: tweaked or untweaked in my opinion ....

One of the best :star: cars ever seen and driven in :gt:?

I tuned that car to handle LIKE A DREAM! looks good,goes fast! I`m glad to see another good tuner around here..(you!) :D :D :) ;) :) :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Well, the Skyline obviously isnt as good of a design as the Supra or NSX because it is consistently last in any JGTC event with usually the Supra and NSX battling it out for top position. By the end of Grand Valley 300KM Endurance I lapped the Zexel and Pennzoil Skyline 4 times and the Raybrig and Arta NSX 2 times. I lapped the Sard Supra 3 times.

Thats kinda the same as in the V8 Supercars. The HRT teams (Holden) win practicly all of the races while the Ford Falcons are way down the grid usually in about 5th spot and below.

But in the recent Queensland 500, Ford finally got a race win after exactly a year without a win, and this was all thanks to David Besnard (sp).
