Try to beat that.

I had completely forgotten about these things, but I happened to read a review today. They called the shifter notchy and imprecise, but I find it hard to argue with the performance numbers. Pretty soon, 2000-2003 Maximas are going to start taking the place of the 1994-1997 Volvo 850 Turbo/T5 as my favorite used car under $10k.

I say a AU Ford Falcon Futura is sorta a sleeper car. Its alot faster than I would expect. My dad has one and we managed to get 160kph very easily.

An EA Falcon manual is just as fast in a straight line, so i would consider them to be more of a sleeper, as they are pieces of ****, compared to, well, anything lol

My RX-7 Turbo II is a bit of a sleeper. Most people see it as some slow 80's car. I've killed numerous 350z's, srt4's, wrx's...... 13.6 in the 1/4 with full exhaust, intake, and hks computer.

I'd say the Pontiac Bonneville GXP is an okay sleeper. Northstar V8 in a FWD car pushing 280hp. 0-60 in mid sixes, not super fast but decent and you could probably surprise a few unsuspecting drivers.

Sleeper cars I would love to make... Escort with a Cosworth engine and transmission or a Mirage with a Lancer Evolution engine and transmission. Of course if you were actually gonna make a true sleeper for racing for money, you'd probably be better off looking for cars that people openly mock, like Korean cars (hyundai excel, kias, daewoos), Suzuki, Geos, minivans, vans and starting with that as a base, stick as big an engine into it. I've heard of a LOT of sleeper hyundais 4g63s stuffed in them (the lancer evo engine.)

Buick Regal Turbo T ;)
Looks like an 80-something year old should be driving it around to all but those in the know.

This car is good for a 12.45 in the 1/4

Hmm, never knew it was a fast car. My neighbour has one of those.
