I think you mean Bahrain;)

Yes, Yes, of course. Thanks. Coulthard would 'seem' to be picking up time as well in '08 trim. Old guys making comeback? Alonso ahead of Glock, Rossberg, Heidfeld? Almost too good to be true... It seems some 'new' parts might not make it onto R28b with last years tech scandal so fresh in memory. I believe Renault will ask for approval from FIA before putting suspension pieces on the car. Especially when they came so close to suffering same penalty as McLaren.
"At Both" AHH, now I get it Metar!LOL. Kinda'.

I remember reading about that Ferrari nose cone idea in the mid-Feb Autosport - at the time they were expecting it to be tested at Barcelona pre season. A quote from the article:

"It's an old idea - Eghbal Hamidy tried it at Stewart back in the 1990s - but is quite tough to make it work."

I'm so used to seeing grooves that the slicks look REALLY weird. They look like black mashmallows.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Is this true? I haven't checked elsewhere. Looks like slick times. It's up there with Massa & Barrichello, no less. Rock on 'Nando! "Alonso puts Schumacher in the shade." (PlanetF1). Fantastic! Fernando brought more than his .6 today. Bourdais crashes STR3, Vettel picked for Red Bull, hmm. Good times.

Inn~trust~ding.......

Very. But like Sureshot said, "don't read too much into it." Q3 of Barcelona Gp may prove to be more inn-trust-ding, though. As we'll likely have to wait til then to see if Alonso's speed 'sticks'. I for one hope so, the yawn-fest would be over. Jeez, is the 'shark fin' That effective? LOL. Could be rain at Catalunya tomorrow... The Drama is back!

If we have sector times, then it would be great!

Why does F1 need to become like IndyCar?

Lets make these cars hard to drive not easy.
First of all, many fans (including myself) want more overtaking. The easiest way to create closer racing is to get rid of the winglets that generate dirty air. That's why the FIA should look at how IndyCars generate ground effect.

Second of all, an IndyCar isn't easy to drive. Read some interviews from drivers (such as Mario Andretti, Nelson Piquet, Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, Alex Zanardi, Cristiano da Matta, and Sebastien Bourdais) who have driven both F1 cars and IndyCars. Or even better, watch some IndyCar races.

Watch Indy races? No, thank you. Can't be that hard to drive Indy car, they allow women *snicker* ie Dannica Patrick. And drive in circles. What next, A1gp? Please, no more... *fart*, ahh!
Indy? ROFLOL

If you knew anything about IndyCar racing, then you'd know they also race on road and street courses.

You got me. I confess. I know Nothing about Indy/Chump car. Nor Nascab or any other American motorsport. Nor do I wish to. FIA will never take a look at anything Indy car is doing IMHO.

Take your misogyny elsewhere please.

First of all, it was called Champ Car. And American open wheel racing has been reunited under the IndyCar Series.

Second of all, it's called NASCAR.

Finally, the FIA adopted Champ Car's alternate tires rule last year. Looks like the FIA already took a look at and copied what Champ Car did!

She's a better driver than you're ever likely to be. Also point out that Ashley Force is leading the Funny car series in the NHRA iirc.

I do watch some IndyCar races thanks. Not as much as you do because its not a massive sport here in the UK but I do follow it now and again. I wouldn't sit here and say that without having any other knowledge of the series im comparing it too. I didnt say catagoricly say that IndyCar was easy to drive. Would you agree that ground effect does make cars easier to drive?

What im saying is take off the areo peices. F1 doesn't need ground effect to create overtaking. There must be more ways. F1 and IndyCar are two different things.

Alonso admits pecking-order unlikely to change much for Barcelona GP. Bummer. Vettel likely to jump to Red Bull, so whose seat is up for grabs? I think Coulthard likely. MSC adds his voice to those calling on FIA to keep tire warmers. Good, slicks appear unsafe unless hot.
Omnis- I like women fine thanks. Holding grid markers & umbrellas. Not in Nomex.

Awesome pictures, as always, Appie. I'm not feelin' those 'ears' on the front of the Honda, though. Looks as if STR3 is delayed due to Bourdais' shunt.

I can't wait for all these aerodynamic bits of ****e to be made illegal (next season, isn't it?).
