SPhilli911I attempted a snow drift. I have no evidence, but it looked a little like this.

Pshh. I had full lock. One handed.
casey_2005Because snow.
Don't get me wrong, drifting in the snow is gobs of fun but it doesn't really take a lot of skill, at low speeds at least.
Aw what are you driving now? Also, what do you mean your slides were more gradual?
The 6 was stolen, since then I've had a few other old BMW's and am now driving a dull 320d Tourer.
By gradual I mean that the 6 used to break traction left/right across the tyre, without having to break traction in the direction of wheel rotation... in F1 commentator speak, you seem to have to over-rotate the tyres quite a bit before it will slide, in my car the grip from the tyres was so poor I didn't really need to gun it so much. Michelin TRX Metrics really are rubbish - but I wanted to keep the car totally original, which meant keeping the 15.75" wheels, rather than changing for 16's and getting some better rubber.
Thanks for watching! Was actually more or so around 25 mph.
How did you flip your MR2?
Oh wow, didn't know these german cars were steal-able. And my tires are still pretty much brand new right now, what i'm doing is weight transfer.
Any car can be stolen...
As for weight transfer, it really doesn't look like you are based on when you start to get any angle in these "drifts."
Indicated.
If you had actually read any of that post, you'd have noticed I wasn't anywhere near the car when it flipped. Someone borrowing it flipped it.
I didn't want to read any of it.
Watch the POV video, you can notice how i go outwards then steer hard in...
AzuremenAnd don't actually get the car sideways doing that, only when you start getting on the throttle do you see you even start to counter.
AzuremenThen why bother me about my car?
I didn't want to read any of it.
You can see it in the hood view as well. Watch the videos before commenting please.
