Nah, I don't like anything by Korn. I used to like The Offspring until they went mainstream and I just don't like Everclear.

Now thats real music...and if they are screaming in those songs at least it has a ****ing point!

I'm with you on the Sublime, Jimi, STP, Led Zep, and Green Day. Korn and Kidrock suck though ;)
 
What? Why don't you guys like KoRn? They're great. Greenday and Sublime ae cool, but why not KoRn? And I still say Slipknot are great.

i think korn are excellent, they are one of my favorite bands and i have tickets for us (5 korn lovers and slip who is growing to like them ;) after the new cd) to see them on 7th Sept in london, and to top it off they are being supported by Puddle of Mudd - another of my favorite bands :D
i am one happy bird! :)
 
nice slipknot stuff rumple,sweet logo animations.....

and why do people judge on what we like,who cares if they wear masks,i love their music,and korn and limp bizkit arent very good...

but im always up for metallica!!!
 
i dont like limp either, but i do like korn...

I could vomit into the mask of every single member of slipknot and still have some extra vomit to spread around if their music is still playing. I think they are one of the WORSE bands out there. they absolutely and utterly suck. and I dont care about their masks. but I do think its stupid.

Slipknot isn't all that bad, the problem is people look at them with their masks on, say "ewww they look creepy, they must suck" and leave it at that. Most people aren't even willing to listen to anything by them.
 
i listened, i read there lyrics, and have come up with one suggestion to them:

therapy.

now, i am not shoving what i like down your throat, but i am saying what they sing is suicide rock.

amen brother :). now, i am sort of contradicting what i usually say, but i just believe there music is too strange and sickening. :bowdown:

Yes, some of their stuff is suicide rock.
But, it's the opposite of any toher band out there. I mean, instead of singing about their girlfriend that dumped them or their grilfriend that died, they choose to sing about suicide. Slipknot is no longer one of my all time favorite bands, but they are stil awesome. Just because they sing/scream the complete opposite of your average band doesn't mean that they suck.
 
Slipknot are quite simply a bit of fun! who cares what their songs are about? Their live show is phenomenal and provides some good headbanging fun!
 
I love slipknot....my favorite song is wait and bleed....the thing that got me to like them was the fast pace of the drums...that and the masks are so freakin cool :D
 
The fast pace of the drums rocks.
Judging them by their masks would be like judging a book by its cover.
I agree with skyline, their masks are kick a**.
