Is draft working on Twin Montegi road course?

Hi

A few in our online club (C.R.A.P) have been driving a lot on the Road Course of Montegi as we are practising for an enduro we are running there in 550pp tuning garage cars.

There have been some comments while we've been in a race about how difficult drafting (overtaking using the slipstream) is whether draft is set to low or high.

Wondered what other peoples' opinions are on this.

I guess the best test is a one make race from the recommended list of cars with draft set to High and then Off but I've only just thought of that!

Interesting slipstream effects at Motegi, but I don't agree entirely. If set to 'high' the effects are exactly that (too high) even at Motegi RC, while set to 'low' (btw since when can we turn it 'off'?) it really seems to be lower than on other tracks.
Could it be due to Motegi beeing located in a Valley? I'm not sure PD went down on this intentionally, though.
I have been wishing for a lobby option on drafting that sets it lower than the current 'low', for the longest.

Got on here to make a thread about this after searching yesterday without finding anything. I guess we have to do some testing

Slipstream will have it greatest effect on tracks like Daytona super speedway, Route 7, and Route X. On circuit tracks slipstream has very little effect regardless of it high or low setting. Personally, there should only be one setting for slipstream, not two, and it should always be set to low for a more realistic effect.

It has a big effect on small tracks even on low.
A big effect means you can use it to overtake a car. You can even use it on Tsukuba. And high setting is significantly noticeable.
I never drive super speedways or route 7, or route x. So maybe you are only used to massive amounts of draft.

The effect is difficult to determine as it is skewed by us driving different cars in the practice races. At 550pp The RUF's are quicker on the straights and slower on the corners than the likes of the Gran Turismo 350z RS. We normally have it set to low for most races. My mistake about the off setting :)

Knukken, let's do a bit of testing soon. Just for our own peace of mind.

Looks like they are giving us a 2 hourtest before we can do it. Won't be able to get on before that. I guess someone else wants to help you before sat.

I've raced it many times already in PURE series and the draft works perfectly normally imo :).
