That way u can have your car already set up for different tracks.
This is one of the many ways Forza Motorsport 3 is better. (There's some things I prefer in GT5, like the feel of the driving, but FM3 excels in several ways.)
In FM3 you can save tuning setups, and as many as you want. It's not just one per car, two per car, five per car, or twenty per car. I can save a million tuning setups if I want. I can have all sorts of different setups for different performance ratings for my cars for each individual track if I want to.
As if that wasn't awesome enough, I can also go onto the awesome Storefront and download tuning setups from other users. Now, this may sound like it's just a gamble, as the tuning setup could be bad, and to an extent that's the case with tuning setups that nobody has tried yet, but I try to get ones that hundreds of players have downloaded and voted to be very good. Not everybody is a tuning master, but we can all download tuning setups from people that really know what they're doing if need be.
Well, I went to vote on this but evidently I already did a long time ago.
I had also long ago submitted that we have something similar to FM3's Storefront, which is 130 billion times better than the gimped sharing setup for GT5, but only one person besides me has voted on it.

So... fine. Enjoy sharing only one track at a time, having to advertise them on message boards, and having to swap friend requests just to share a friggin' track with one friggin' person when you could have countless players swapping heaps of tracks with no hassle at all. Enjoy sharing a measly eight photos at once and only your immediate friends on your friend list seeing them. Enjoy not being able to share replays at all or share tuning setups.
