Well, I'm not a drift afficianado, but to me the drifts looked ok. Decent drifts, but nothing spectacular tho'.

But....

The video editing was fantastic. :D You got the rhythm (that's how Word spells it but it doesn't look right!) of the song down to a T and the changing of the scene at the same time as the music was brilliant.
 
*groans* 53 megs? My 56K modem is practically rolling on the floor laughing at the thought of dowloading that. :irked:

Ah crap, and it's exactly stuff like that that I like to see in a video, even more so than the drifts themselves probably.
 
The drifts were OK. Good Video editing. YOu really need to learn how to compress videos. 53 megs is almost as big as a raw video file. Keep praticing. 👍
 
good vid!:) nice drifts. U coulda gotten better angles though, seemed like u werent pushin the cars too hard.. Do u use a wheel?

lol me too damn 56k lmao it takes 3hours to dl a 50mb file
see the thing is 56k is only for dling things at night heheh thats what i do if im goin to dl something big

Raw video file? No way Busta, raw is so much bigger. I have a couple raw's here left over from an AMV I made a while ago and a 28 sec clip is like 124MB.
 
Sorry about the size, but i like my vids to be high quality. i just dont like the ones where you cant hardly tell whats going on. Its not anywhere close to raw, it was compressed 2 times total, however it is a long song. . .

No, I don't use a wheel. I'm just a college student and i dont have much money, if I'm going to get a wheel then it's going to be high quality. Untill then I just use the controler.

If the video is worth downloading, then I do not care about how big the file is. As long as it is worth the wait. I use a program to help pause the download when I'm not online, so I can download a file when I am only online ;)

hmm, my raw videos run upwards of 500mb. ;)
 
Yeah I know my drifts are not the greatest, but I was really tired of videos that featured great drifts but were really boring. Isn't the point of drifting to be showy? I aim to entertain and that's what this videos is all about.
 
Good job on the video. Sorry to say this, but it IS a ridiculously high size video. My storage is exceeded to over 120%. I'm requesting someone to compress this file (try XVID, best codec for quality/size ratio) and it will be deleted for now. Or, ask Ryen49...
 
i look at ur site and some of those vids are really old
why don't ppl delete them
 
Well, if no one's claiming them, I'm going to delete vids before 2/1/04. I haven't deleted Jerad's vid yet, and if it goes lower than 80% after this process, it will stay. However, Jeard's vid will most likely be compressed to say 30 mb max.
 
dude sorry i didn't know you were capacity would anyone else who has more room host this, also i will try tomorrow to compress it even more
 
From what I've downloaded so far the editing looks to be quite spectacular. That song in particular is a tough one to sync images with too.

Seriously, dude, keep drifting the way you drift, have fun with it, if you make it a task, it will become a chore.

Drifting is one of those funny things that you have to be a part of to understand the minute details of it. It's like break dancing, only another breakdancer can sit there and judge a persons windmill by how far their legs are spread or the angle of their shoulders or how fast they are spinning or by how rythmic they are.

Drifting is the same way, only other drifters can sit there and criticize on another drifters drift line. The average person doesn't care which line you follow as long as you don't follow it into a wall and as long as you are sideways.

Just drift like you want bro, it's usually more fun that way. If you keep trying your hardest to please other drifters you'll just wind up making it uninteresting and you'll quickly deter from it.


Keep it sideways and keep it safe bro.
