I usually play between 8pm-1amEST but I dont want to race in the "off hours" of another region, so I am thinking that the European servers would not be as good of a choice as the Asian servers? I get that by playing during the primetime hours of my current regions wont be in the primetime hours of another, but I think playing against breakfast racers in Asia will give me more competition than late night Euorpe. Any recommendations?

Why not make an account for both? It won't matter in the beginning anyway since you'll be matched with D/E drivers. it might be a fun experiment to see your progression between the two regions.

It actually doesn’t take that long. I did a 2nd Account too, but the reason for doing this was, because a few months ago there was this Grip Bug. I didn’t knew if I was affected and after having reached Dr.S/S, I was unsure if my rating was earned fair. So I decided to make a 2nd Account to prove if i‘m worth being there. Well, after 3 Days i did it again. You can see it in my Signature.i wanted to make a top split asian account but frankly it's too boring to grind all the way up to S. even if you win every race it's still days of work and everyone you race against on the way up suffers too

Mine averages to around 75 per account to get SA lot of races, though. Surely 50 or more to reach S even at 1k DR gained per race
I'm guessing around the region of 500-700 actually, since I'm betting around half of S/S players made a second account as they got into a racing team and got S/S there as wellAccording to the GT Sport Stats site, there are 1303 DR S drivers (I'm assuming that's worldwide.) Knowing that many people have multiple accounts, I wonder how many of those are different people. Very possible that the real number of DR S drivers is much smaller. 1000? 800? Who knows?
Absolutely, I needed 47wins out of 94 races until I reached S. Once in Dr.S i only managed to get 19 more wins out of 52 races, with maybe 100-300 points. But not finishing in the top 3 meant a huge loss everytime.A lot of races, though. Surely 50 or more to reach S even at 1k DR gained per race

I found the same thing on the US. A look at their Top 10 times explains this phenomenon. Really sorry if this is off topic but since I've seen this mentioned a few times before when you say lower SR do you mean lower DR?Same goes to intentionally lowering Sr to get easier grids. I mean what’s the point in racing slower opponents?! No thanks.
Edit: I can proudly say, that all my races I did, were against Sr.99 folks.

What I'm trying to say is I'd assume if you lower your DR you'd automatically be playing against slower opponents, rather than lowering your SR where you'd have dirtier races. Which may or may not tank your SR and DR further than you'd want?

Generally, the faster drivers have SR at 99 or very near. When your SR drops you get matched against lower SR drivers and the DR ratings are almost always much lower as well. This is because it's hard to win races when you keep getting penalties.
If you want easier wins, it's a quick process to drop your SR rating and get matched against slower drivers. One thing to remember is with all the stats available, it's a bit suspicious when someone appears to be tanking their SR.
