@Rob Brown You may want to double check your driver list tags.
There needs to be a space between the following drivers (Hanable & TomMang-68 ) & (NetouchAndre & Jw-wk1010) & (Adramike &Freeryd503) if you want them to be 'tagged' or 'mentioned' in this thread.

...just trying to help.

This is an insanely fast D2. Gonna need to find some pace by the time I come back in Sept.
The field is shaping up to be Very Competitive this season. I'm looking forward to it!

I guess i can do data, never done it though:cheers:
@CoachMK21 @JLBowler can we get Mully access to the SNAIL Data, please?

Mully, in any of the sheets that contains data in the SNAIL Data sheet, you will find a "SNAIL Data Entry 101" near the top left in Line 4. It is slightly outdated, but still usable. That is the briefest way to describe the process.

The process above describes the WHAT to do.

The process below describes HOW to do it (my way). You are free to figure out your own way if this doesn't work for you.

The quickest way for me to do it is as follows:
1. I take a screenshot of the starting grid (press and hold the share button for 3 seconds when the starting grid appears)
2. After the race I go to the top and save the replay
3. Then open the race results and take a screen shot of the results (if more than 12 players, scroll down and take another screen shot to include results of positions 13-16) (the reason for the screens shots is that the replay does not give the gap to the winner, it gives the gap to next racer, which means you need a calculator to add the gaps to get the cumulative time to the leader.)
4. Now I have everything to do data efficiently.

Data:
1. I open the capture gallery on PS4 and open the screen shot of the first race starting grid.
2. Fill in the starting order (Do not enter anything in the grey boxes)
3. Sort the sheet by finish positions for the first race
4. Open the screen shot of the race results for that race
5. Make sure the screen shot order is the same as the results order on the snail data sheet
6. Position 1 is 0.000 and fill in the rest of the gaps down the list
  • if the gap is more than 1 minute I convert it to seconds (e.g. 1:06.421 is the same as 66.421) I think you can use both formats, but I haven't checked in a while
  • If a driver did not complete the race within the 90 seconds time frame then leave the gap blank
7. Skip the fast laps for now.
8. The second race is reverse grid. If there are no new players or nobody left, then start at the bottom of the list and fill the the reverse grid starting order to the top. Otherwise, open the screenshot of the second race starting order and fill in the starting order for the second race.
9. Sort the list to the finish order of the second race, open the screen shot of the second race results and fill in the gaps.
10. Repeat this process for the other combos (1-9)
11. When all the starting orders and gaps are filled in, then go back to the first combo and sort the list by finish positions for the first race.
12. Start the replay (you can also get the starting grid from here if you want)
13. Check from the results who was last (if it was a dc or no time posted then go to the second last person) and select to watch that player. Skip to the end while on that player, but pause before the player crosses the finish line. Make sure everybody else crossed the line.
14. Go the race data and enter the fast lap times. (if you use the correct format the fastest lap will be highlighted. If there is an error in the format then there will be no highlight. The most common error is using 1;24.xxx vs 1:24.xxx)
15. Now, look at the fastest lap of the last driver on the right hand side of the screen and look at the lap time counter of the lap he is on. If it looks like he is going to do his fast lap on the last lap then let the replay run out. As the driver crosses the finish line his lap time will briefly appear in the table on the right where the lap times are. You only have a split second to register and remember. Then if that lap was in fact his fastest lap, make the correction on the sheet.
16. In case a driver dc'd or left the race for other reasons you can find the spot where he left and look at the lap times on the right what his fastest time was. If it is way out of wack, or there is nothing, then just leave it blank.
17. Sort the score sheet for the next race and start the replay and repeat (12-16)
18. When all the data is in, sort the sheet by the overall results. - done

It is handy to have a laptop. When my laptop was broken I sat in my office at the desktop with binoculars and the remote. At least I had line of sight to my games monitor..... My wife thought I was nuts. I should probably have asked someone else to take care of data at the time.

Seems we have primary coverage for the duties. Still could use some backup sign ups.
Anybody signed up and can’t make it, try to post here as soon as you know.
