Welcome to the May 2026 SNAIL Division 2 thread!

If you would like to volunteer for any roles please post in this thread and your name will be added to the role in question.

Snail is run by it’s members and D2 has many new members who may not realize this, so doing a job on race night makes it better for everyone involved. Volunteer for a role and then if needs be you can do it race night.

@ZoomZoomMf @racingchamp30 @Mac1032763 @arethosetacos @CdnSweetTee @JLBowler @Crunchy Taco @JakeMk8 @Skills @radliffracing @musty_Goose29 @Apomorphine @DriftstarE @TexHill @OmarGRacing @Soulierxdro

Easiest: Texter. Post messages in the lobby to randoms who should be encouraged to join Snail and asked to leave the lobby. It’s a cut and paste thing.
Easy: Replay Uploader. Save and share the replays according to Snail’s format for searching.
Involved: Host, Scorekeeper, Data Specialist.

Thanks! Good luck, racers !

Division Manager: @CANOWORMS1

Host: @racingchamp30
Backup Host
:

Upload race replays. Deadline to upload is 8PM EST. (If replays are not uploaded by then, we are subject to lose prizes for that week)
Data Specialist:@canoworms1

Here's why we need some back up of duties. See the main thread. I may not make racing tonight, meaning someone (@Crunchy Taco @Mac1032763 etc.) who has access to the Sunday Score sheets needs to enter scores.

Worst case scenario is I enter the lobby and get Results at the end of each race. Would I have to enter the race, or would just being in the lobby allow me to access Replays and Results?

You may need to "spectate" each race. Not certain though.

Last night was a shock to me, my wheel would disconnect constantly making it impossible for me to race. I hope to get this resolved shortly. But, in the month of June I'm gone for the whole month. We (D2) will need somebody to do scores each night for the whole season. I'm hoping @Crunchy Taco can help with this, but a backup person would be a good idea. I'm not sure of the consequences if scores aren't done.

First off thank you but it is you Canoworms that need the kudos. I have no idea how you are able to enter the data live. I was so overwhelmed. For me taking a screen shot of the starting grid, of the podium, then entering the data using that and the replays after the races is how I think I would do it in the future. I am more than glad to fill in for part of the month of June, but I will be gone from the 9th to the 21st for our families' dune trip to St Anthony's Dune in ID. So I will miss a portion of the season myself, so as backup will be needed. Sorry.

If you want to get the scores (and data) after all racing is complete, the simplest way to do it is, after each race is over and you've returned to the lobby screen click the results button and get a screenshot of that. If there are more than 8 drivers you will need to screenshot both pages of results. All the scoring and data needed for both is on that screen. You will have no less than 6 and up to 12 screenshots to deal with.

Also of note, please do not alter the structure of the score sheet, i.e. adding/deleting rows or columns. If the cell has grey back ground fill, do not enter any data in those cells. Everything with gray fill is populated by script or formula.

Hello guys, new driver here. Nice to meet you all.
I have a question regarding the driver's list. What does "AW/PS" mean?
Can't wait to see you guys on track this sunday, I'll be watching you from the back of the pack :lol:

I believe it means the following:

(NEP#) = Drivers with a number after the NEP designation are not eligible to win prizes until they race that number of weeks. These drivers have this designation because they failed to respond to prize winner notifications and forfeited their prize. Same rules apply here as for penalty

I suggest at the very least you add the following to your PSN friends list:
@racingchamp30 / @CANOWORMS1 / @Crunchy Taco
It'll make finding the official lobbies easier.

I’ll step aside now as @radliffracing has slapped my hand before for lurking in the D2 tread.

Nah man, you've been awesome. I really appreciate the invite and all the advise. I have great hopes for this, meeting great people and racing great races!

AW/PS is short for Available Weeks Per Season. That value is used to help determine Full time / Part time status for new drivers. In your case you have 2 weeks to attend to maintain Full time status for this season/month. If you only attend 1 of those 2 weeks you will be changed to part time status.
