A big factor in promotion is lap times , not so much if you won a season. I'm competitive in D3 but my lap times will put me mid pack to bottom in D2. I need to improve more before I can take a crack at D2.
What I love about the current D3 is that we are very even. Anyone stepping on the track has a chance to win.

Yup, it's really a shame. I was really looking forward to it as well as the Daytona/Merc combo as well as racing with some buddies I haven't seen for a while.

I lost total power last night after my generator died as well. Seems the power and gas company forgot to reset and flow test the natural gas meters after a little road construction over the summer. Luckily, it's 19 degrees out this morning with 14 inches of new snow....one big a** refrigerator.

Power came back on around 1pm. I worked from my mobile office (parked in driveway).
So I hooked up the PS4 Pro today and it made a huge difference in AC. Everything is sharp and clean, no more little jagged track edges or frame rate drop offs online. Everything just seemed to move a little crisper.

Damn, I'm working tomorrow 10-4, otherwise I'd be on testing every damn track in the game. Please don't make a decision too soon, I'd really like to be a part of this.

I personally like precision and something that makes it easy for people to race each other while still posing a small challenge to perfect a lap. Leave some room for runoff so people gain a bit more confidence to push the limit and Bob's your uncle.
