@SAMHAIN85 , Just got back and will try to run laps later today/tomorrow. Ran for the first time just now and I am slower by half second, but I think that is because it is the first time on track in six days. Will do more laps see if it goes back to where it was.

Just ran 11 more laps best time was a 1.49.554 average was 1.49.826 I was hoping to be able to mess around with tuning it a lil to get a consistant 1.50 but server maintenance so I'll do 10 more tomorrow and see if I cant get it to all 1.50's

To kick off the first Survivor Series event we will be introducing a new way to use your hard earned $hells

$hell Wagering!

This should add a whole new level of competition and excitement with something more than bragging rights on the line

1 $hell buy-in
Winner take all (the highest placed finisher for the event)
It is completely optional to enter
You must have $hells currently in order to play
Check your balance here

What are $hells and how do you earn them? Click here

1 $hell buy-in
Entrants:
@SAMHAIN85
@TomMang_68
@stelephant
@JamCar0ne
@Raw10_2u

Looking at the current balances, the current drivers signed up that have $hells are: @basswerks1 @DesertPenguin (you have 1 $hell, but its listed under your old acct) @Grandpa Money @JamCar0ne @Kgffy @Oshawa-Joe @Raw10_2u @stelephant @thracerviewr @TomMang_68 and I just claimed $hells for my first time ever tonight.

Post in this thread if you would like to enter. Remember its completely optional. I will update the 'entrants' list above as people enter.

Ideally it would be nice to have an exclusive $hell account where the entrants transfer their 1 $hell before the racing begins (like any real world bet or poker tournament) that @zer05ive has access to, and as the middleman he can then transfer the total $hells wagered to the eventual winner. But since we dont have that yet we will just have to square up after the event. So if you agree to enter this $hell Wager, you are agreeing to transfer your 1 $hell to the winner.

I think I am good for this Friday. May have to work Saturday so most likely won’t go to that deal. I am going to try 88/110 but I think I need to stick with 89/110 the 89/111 had the car balance wayyyy off and almost undrivable.

I don't have shells, and I am not in this event. Will there be a way spectators could wager on drivers?

Maybe in the future we can do something like that. For now we'll just keep it simple since this is our first time trying it out.

Man I gotta start collecting more $hells. Just so people know, here are some ways anyone can earn $hells:

-BLOG - Made blog-style or multi-volume post (e.g. The Pit Board)
-PHOTOGRAPHY - Posted 10/20/30 or more photos (with or w/o commentary) from any SNAIL event
-PRACTICE COORDINATOR - Posted Open Lobby room numbers for Thursday night practice
-SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR - Posted social media content of interest to SNAIL (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
-VIDEO PRODUCER - Posted video on thread, YouTube, or SNAIL Video Channel

These are ways for people that aren't doing those duties to still be able to earn $hells too.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

ok.... i have to announce my retirement form this round. i had a choice to make: work this friday or work this sunday.... so i choose to work this friday. I'm sorry @SAMHAIN85 i know you put a lot of work into setting this up.

Its all good Bass. Hopefully you can make the next one.

Fastest lap 150.826 average lap 152.633

It looks like you're still having trouble finding some consistency on this track, which means getting accurate specs for you isnt going to be easy. Just keep practicing it - you'll get it. Its all about finding the right line through the first chicane which can really make or break your lap.

Just ran 11 more laps best time was a 1.49.554 average was 1.49.826 I was hoping to be able to mess around with tuning it a lil to get a consistant 1.50 but server maintenance so I'll do 10 more tomorrow and see if I cant get it to all 1.50's

Its ok if you dip into the .49's, just as long as you arent a low 49. A 50 flat should be what you can run on a "good" lap, a 49.7-4.9 on a "great" lap.

At 93/109/SH, after 10 laps I had:

Best Lap: 1:49.570
Optimal: 1:49.418

Thanks.

I'll sign up if there is room

You're in. And I forgot to tag you in the SNAIL Wager post. Just confirm in here if you would like to particpate, if not thats fine too.

Post #3 is updated again with your new specs in bold. We are less than 48 hours away from this so run some laps with your new specs and post in here. Everyone should be pretty much good to go for the most part. Everyone highlighted in yellow is ready for Friday night with the settings listed.
