Snake Mountain - 1,450 foot-high mountain pass and its surrounding rural backroads.

This concept of this course is that of a mountain getaway.

The Pit Area serves as a fuel and rest station along the country roads. You'll come across settlements, houses sprinkled amongst the forested roads.

As you take the "off-ramp" near the end of the hugh speed section in the south-west part of the layout, the road becomes more technical and takes on a consistently rising gradient. From there, you will climb over 1,400 feet to the peak - sectioned off by circuit gates - then on to a...

Overall smoother layout. Flows much better. Fixed numerous problem areas. Work-in-progress.

The course is shorter and now has more corners. Better flow through the second.

Significant Update

Fixed a number of blind corners and hairpins. Technical section near the peak has added corners to soften the steepness of the incline amd regulate speed throughout the section. Added entirely new section to the backside of the mountain, from peak to start.

so what'd you change with this one

The parkway (southern half of course) has been reworked, inspired by a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia.

The mountain pass (northern half of the course) has been completely reworked to be smoother and transition more naturally between sectors. Hairpin sector has been leveled out.

The entire course should be smooth at cruising speeds, the real dangers only evident at a racing pace.
