Any other mac users made the the update to Snow Leopard yet? I did a fresh install earlier today & immediately noticed it ran faster, although that may be to do with it being a fresh install. Quicktime X seems good with it's built in video & screen recording capabilities, as well as the option to trim clips. All the software I use seems to work, apart from guitar pro, which crashed every time on launch
I don't have enough RAM to see any massive advantages to 64-bit applications, but it does seem to run slightly faster as I said before.
Overall I'd say it's a solid update definitely worth £25, everything just seems to work better & faster than in Leopard. It was also a VERY quick install, only took about 20 minutes & the first time I installed as an update from leopard, it freed up allot of hard drive space on my MacBook Pro, I don't remember the exact numbers, but 10+GB.
