the percentage is humidity?

if so, damn youre lucky. its never below 50% here in queensland :(

I don't know about you Pako, but having no humidity in the summer is wonderful, but no humidity in the winter is a pain in the hand. My hands and skin get so dry, and with the amount of times that I wash my hands at work, my skin starts to crack and bleed. It's a nightmare. But, on the other hand, that fresh and oh so dry Colorado snow is so fun to ride on. You cant even pack a snowball with it.

Actually, the percentage is change of percepitation. Although, it is aweful dry here, as in lack of humidity. As Boom suggests, summers are great. It can get up to 90 degrees with little effect, which is quite different than living in 85-110% humidity like it was in Hawaii when I lived there....

The winters with low-zero humidity cause extreemly dry skin, also as Boom suggests, that often are accompanied by cracking flesh and bloody noses..., but talk about fluffy snow, not sticking to anything..., it's great.

:cheers:

Here we go again!

It's snowing pretty hard right now. Forcasts are calling for 7-12 inches of the pow-pow today with another 4-8 tomorrow and even more on the way on Sunday.

The lifts should be opening soon here. November 22nd is go time for the mountain to open here. Could be sooner as the snow making equipment has been working overtime. Several resorts are open now such as Loveland and Keystone.

I should be able to start making some turns here really soon, work schedule permitting.

Hey Rob - do you have to drive on seventy to get to/from work every day?

Yeah, I drive 70 for about 8 miles. From East Vail (where I live) to Lionshead. Last night, the roads were quite sketchy. It's snowing really hard but the temps are kinda warm. About 33 degrees. So the snow is really wet and heavy. Makes for a tougher drive as opposed to the usual dry snow that we get.

@Mr. Holland :)

I'll box some up for you and ship it over to ya! :p We got plenty. Probably got a foot of snow since my last post here.

Ugh, it hasn't stopped snowing here yet. It's been going pretty steadily since friday. Currently, it's DUMPING right now. We have probably got about 24 inches so far and higher elevations have received up to 4 feet. The lifts open on the 16th here so I'll be making some powder turns shortly! :D :D :D :D :D :D
