I've topped out 8.5" so far

It looks like we'll be over 20" by tomorrow night. South of Boston.

AO

The snow passed by here without droping too much. We only got about an inch or two. It snowed again last night, and added about another inch, but most of it has already melted.

about 3 inches in Toronto...damn factories in buffalo screwed up the weather patterns over the past few years. The weather has been getting more and more mild every year for the past 5 years :'(. I give it another 6 years before Toronto weather is just like Houston's. The most we got 5 years ago was almost 3 feet. The year before had almost 4-5 feet but I wasn't living in Toronto at the time. Last year we had a combination of 4 storms colliding in some freak weather thing and we got lucky with 2 feet :'(
I want my snow back :p

Well the current Blizzard (which I can't call Blizzard '03 since we had Blizzard '03 at the beginning of this year, when about 2.5 feet fell) has dropped another 4-6" or so on top of what I already shovelled so we have nearly a foot and a half on the ground. The good news is it has stopped for the moment. The bad news is we may get more tomorrow here on Long Island.

Holy ****ing ****!

I say we have about 8 inches around here. It's supposed to snow until 7 PM, which is about 19 hours away.

I have to get up at about 5:30 to shovel out the driveway to get to work. It's going to suck.

How many of you out East actually want this snow?

If ya don't, can you send some of it my way? But I don't want any of Klos' snow. It's tainted and of inferior quality.
Out here in the Rocky Mountains, we could really use it. Ski season is off to an amazingly slow start.

I want the snow. I could use a day off from school. It's going to suck royally working outside tomorrow all day, though.

It'll be worth it if school on Monday is closed.

My snow isn't tainted, it just has a little cold. Or syphilis. I forget.

We got about 5" yesterday, but it got a little tamped down by the rain. About another 5" fell today for a final total of 10", but effectively 8".

I live in Des Moines, Iowa. We got 6 inches the first night of snow, 5 the next, and followed up by another 3 inches. Now we got off and on flurries ranging from 3-4 inches.

We got 2.5 inches in Indiana where I live. I want more snow.... its already melting too.

Where in Indiana do you live cuz we got about that amount here. I want more snow too.

I'll gladly send you the 4'' we got yesterday, no problem! In exchange, i'll gladly take a bit of that Arizonian, Californian or Texan hot weather!

20" = record snowfall for my town.

Spent 6 hours clearing the porch and two vehicles. The architecture of our porch creates a haven for snowdrifts.

Looking across our living room, at the porch door, this is the snowdrift.

And yes, I hate snow.

And the obiligatory follow-up... "How bad does your commute suck?"

This is what i had to deal with this morning.

I hear you can see snow on the peaks of the mountians surrounding the valley I live in, although it hasn't happened in the five or so winters I've been here for (I blame the Mexicans). Other than that it doesn't snow here. It might rain today, though. Damn you winter!!

I'm a bit further out east on Long Island and I'd guess anywhere from 16-18 inches (south Vs. North Shore.)

South of Pittsburgh.
Friday afternoon, I'm sitting in Trig, last period of the day. Then it starts to snow. Friday freaking afternoon, after an entire week of school. Oh well, that's okay, because after school I get to go camping with my insane redneck uncles and drive their trucks off-road. Nope, snowing too hard to get there, and the wiper motor stops on the highway, in the dark. @%#$. Get home, neighborhood's covered in ice, have to leave the car at the top of the hill leading into it. 'Wow - no school for me on Monday!' Next morning, a whopping inch and a half, which melts before Sunday.

Some snow storm that was.
Oh, and I've got Trig homework tonight.

Final Total, Nassau County, LI: 14-16"
