To moderators : I'm sorry to make a new thread for this but my first one was too awefull so I decided to make a new one. You may delete the older one. Thank you.

Here's some shots I took. I think they're decent, but never perfect ! :sly:
Please comment, thank you.

Your shots looks pretty nice, I like the angle in the second 👍 but the last one is my favorite. oh, if want another photo editor you can try out Gimp it's free to download.

i agree with Fyffe. great shots with an awesome perspective. the last one is just amazing. and yes, gimp is free if you want it, it's a great tool for beginners to learn basic stuff. you should try it :)

hehe, just so you know... I'm far away from being a beginner in photo editing. I'm a computer graphic designer so I know photoshop pretty well... But it's on my Macintoch and this computer isn't in use right now because I have no room to put it lol...

Thanks for the advice tho, I'll try Gimp.

Hehe i think i'd rather be in the RX-7 Than the Esprit if i crashed!
A very cool shot!

lol... Actually I was the RX-7 driver and managed to avoid him lol. Had to push the brake very hard :sly:

Thx for the comments.

Nice shots for a start snyp. I really lije the angle you of your supra shot. 5 cars in one shot is difficult to make it look good. But you did it.

Imo the last shot needs to be a little bit brigther to make it look better. Maybe you want to clean the shots a little bit up using photoshop or paintshop pro. If you need help just ask.

Yeah, I'm not used to much with Gimp so I have some difficulties to clean pictures... I found it was I nice shot but wasn't able to get a good angle neither good effect on it.

Thx for your comment.

Here's 3 shots I took today of my RX-7.
Please comment, thank you.

PARKING BY NIGHT

I tried to clean this picture but had problems removing the pixelisation due to the angle of the picture

oh ok. well i'm sorry i didnt know, since you're asking for help and stuff. internet can be very deceiving. my apologies.

as for the rx-7, what tools have u tried so far? and how strong did u set them?

i think the photos are a bit dark for a graphic designer like you..nice shots nonetheless.

I like where this gallery is going. You're alot better than I was when I first started. Keep up the good work 👍!

Honnestly, I don't use much tool since I'm learning this program wich is IMO half of photo shop... I use Gaussian Blur to remove the pixelisation than I use Shapen a little since gaussian blur is offently to powerfull on the rest of the picture. I use Crop, color balance (correcting colors). I haven't been working on it for too long honnestly since I don't this program very well... So about 1/2 an hour would be an honnest estimation. It is going to increase. Thank you very much for this constructive comment. Would please tell me what you think of my banner ? Thank you.

I know that... For the first one (Parking by Night) , I wanted to make a "cold-night" effect adding some bluish coloring to the picture. As for the second one (Cruising downtown), to much brigthness to the pic would have made to much contrast with the fact that it's a night picture Imo.

It it the very first time that I work out a picture in a Photo Editing program in order to make it more realistic. I'd like to have you comments please.

i agree what you said about gimp and the blur. it can be pretty strong, when i used to edit my photos with gimp, i usually used the blur tool with a really low setting, and i only used gaussian blur for big areas like the hood and the windshield. about the nightshots, i would try and lower the saturation starting from the gt4 photomode camera, so when u edit it, it wont be too saturated. it's up to you, but that was what i used to do. i have a few nightshots in my gallery that are done with gimp, i say you go and see for yourself. i'm just helping out like you asked me to, i hope i am being of some use. if you've anymore questions, just let me know.

ps: banner looks good. the lettering on it gives it that gansta appeal if you know what i mean :D the camaro is looking good too, i would suggest using a really low set smudge tool or the convolve tool on some areas of the hood if you want, but i think it looks good already.

A nice update Snyp!👍 the cropping really does make the pic look better and gives a good sensation of speed:tup:

I found that putting the before and after pics help me to get comments on what good, bad or missing to my pic. So I'll do it again, since it helps me alot on improving my Gimp skills.
Thanks for the previous comments.

Here's my new shot of the IROC-Z on the ring.
Please, again, comment. Thank you.

DRIFTING THE RING

Just had some fun here with GIMP :p

Please comment.

SLIPSTREAMING

i like what you did with this photo! the camaro, on the other hand, it's looking good, but you can do a bit more with the lines on the hood, and smooth the lines, same with the front lip/lower bumper. just little details, but could really up the quality of the photo. playing with the lighting a little bit could also make it great, but that's up to you. great capture otherwise :)

How you would do with the hood ?

I've tried it with Smudge tool but couldn't do something good so left it this way...
I would have liked to make more realism on the hood but wasn't able to create something good.... How would you do that too ?

Thank you very much, very helpfull you are :sly:

Here's a shot from a previous update that I retouched with Gimp as I get more used with it.

I personnally love that picture, my only problem was the cleaning and editing.
Please comment, thanks.

Here's the old one :

CRUISIN' DOWNTOWN

Now the same with some photo editing :

CRUISIN' DOWNTOWN 2

I know, I messed around with the windshield, way too much noise... Anyway, got aware of that it was too late

i'm gonna experiment with your photos, and tell you what i did after. i reckon it would make more sense that way rather than telling you what and how. i'll let you know tomorrow. btw, rx-7 photo's looking great!
