I found them tougher than previous.

I had to go up to 500pp to beat London, usually do the 500pp events with cars at 440-450pp. Laguna Seca took me longer than Nordschleife. I got gold on first attempt at the Ring with the Schulze GT-R but had to bump the GT-R R35 TC up to 650pp to beat the Mclaren at Laguna Seca.

i thought they were easier than previous. i used the bentley speed 8 with the power limiter to 650pp. totally easy win. i usually use the zr1 rm for 650pp races, but i was lazy this time.

I actually thought the 500PP race was harder, but I won laguna surprisingly easy in a car 30 points under the maximum on rh. For me it was pure track knowledge. I don't do London often, and I did an endurance race on laguna

I used the much-maligned Audi R10 for Laguna. Good car at that PP, though I can understand why people don't like it. I found it very well balanced and easy to drive hard and consistently.

Its not that my car is too fast. I think its maybe the track choice because the Laguna track is kinda tricky with that hilltop but other than that its easy work.

You hit the nail right on the head there my friend. I like how people use the most overpowerd car they can find then complain or otherwise state how easy they are, lol. Go figure. I myself go the way you have said. It helps bring up your skill level also. Hell, a monkey could drive around on racing soft tires in a 2J and win, where's the fun in that, lol. Challenge yourselves people.

I don't think a Mazda LM Race car is an overpoered racer. But if that's what you think I'm saying then I'll put it like this.

The track choices that they made for the races were too easy. Rome is the easiest one they had up there too. And I don't mean make every race Nüburgring just maybe next time something with more sharp turns and not a lot of road to drive on would be pretty hard to work with would be better for next time.

I really like the London 500pp event. I use sports hard tires and no aids. To win against the best competitors you need to average just under 60 seconds per lap. Not many no race/non touring cars can do it. The best for me are the Elise, S2000, the BMW Concept, and the GTRX. I've tried a bunch of others that I can't win with.

I like these type of races because they allow for testing and tuning to find the very best cars and get paid a good reward to do it.

Just tried these last night. 400pp won on first try with Mini 07 on Comfort Softs all stock. This one was way too easy. Might have to use a different car or downgrade the tires even more.
500pp stock Evora Sport Hards took several tries-not a track I ever run so it was kinda fun.
Haven't given Laguna a good try yet.

I never give any of these a run unless it's in a fully stock car and NEVER on better tires than the AI.
These events to me are fun with stock vehicles. A good way to drive some unfamiliar cars. Owning the AI with a modded car on superior tires makes these into boring events. Trying to manuever around the moving chicanes w/o hitting them can be challenging as well until you figure out their moves.

The latest crop of A spec events turned out to be very easy. i used a bunch of junk and still won. i had an Nsx for the 500, a 1970 skyline for the 400 and Castrol GT-R for the 650.

Absolutely right!

Also, the 500pp race was the most competitive out of the box. I won some and lost some with various cars/tire setups. Great fun on one of my least favorite tracks that I've rarely ever run in reverse.

I'm in the same boat as these gents, something about London in reverse that wasn't smooth, I mean when you drive it normally, I can get a good rhythm going, its nice and flowing, yet quite technical, but in reverse it was just constant, brake here, turn there, I hated having to go up to 500PP to win it - even though I'm always complaining that the seasonals should be harder, I think they've gone just that little bit too far, it should be hard, but with cars that are basically the same as those in the events.

It might be that I never drove London in reverse before, idk.

That's true about london. The track is fine normally, however in reverse it becomes broken. the flow is very broken up. i found that i couldn't go over 110 in the turns before the wall and i knew each other. London's rythime can become strange, resulting in a difficult race.

I won London fairly easily using a stock Lotus Carlton (only a wash and oil change) on RH tyres.

I LOVE using non-race cars for as many races as possible...preferably using British cars.

I used the premium Volvo, tuned up on SS tires - made for a good race...overtook 1st place on final corner of final lap!

If you want a challenge on the London 500pp Seasonal rotate through the opponents field until the Shelby Series One Super Charged is in the 1st position. Use sports hard tires. The Shelby runs the course in 4:52.xxx. To win you need to average 58.5 sec. lap.

I can run 58.5 sec laps but I can't string five together to beat the Shelby.

The surprising thing about the Seasonals is how different the competition speed is between different starting fields. You can win London with a 5:00 against most fields. Eight seconds is a lot on this short tight course.

I finally beat the Shelby using an Elise 111R '04 at 500pp with sport hard tires and no aids. I ran the five laps in 4:51.152. The key was having one really quick lap of 57.237 and four other laps with 58.xxx. I won by 0.4 seconds. It was lots of fun and a good challenge.
