Everybody knows it's hot in Arizona. That's why we all have air conditioning and swimming pools. But for the second day in a row, at work, the air is sub-par. The thermostat is set to 50 degrees Farenheit, yet the temperature hovers above 80, and it's muggy. I've been perspiring all day. Yuck.

So why not get it fixed?

Well, the mainentance guy is coasting 'til retirement. He keeps saying there's nothing wrong with it. He holds a little piece of paper in front of the vent and says "see, there's air blowing out." Only it's hot air, asshole.

As far as I know it's going to be fixed, but when I don't know. I swear if I sweat through my shirt I'm outa' here.

I'm done biching now.

I hear ya. My hot has been soo hot for the longest time. Yesterday was 35 degrees Celcius yesterday (95 Farenheight(sp?)) and I don't even have a/c.

Yes, I live in Saskatchewan, and it's very hot here in the Summer. It's about 31 degrees Celcius today, at it's just crazy, my room and PS2 and Computer and everything are downstairs and down here it's pretty cool, so I just hide out in my basement or in my car all day.

YQL.gif

FEELS LIKE 35°C
WIND W 20 km/h
GUSTS 30 km/h
RELATIVE HUMIDITY 19%
DEWPOINT 8°C

*EDIT* Just so you know that gif updates with the current weather. Unfortunately the text does not.

72°F here with 94% humidity.

I love it. I wish it was about 95-105°F, though.

79 Farenheit right now. I love Miami.

But it's gonna reach the 90's tomorrow and the day after..

My complaints about work airconditioning are well documented here. Heat's fine if you're outside and able to move around, but when you're stuck inside at a desk, it's horrible.

How could we forget. :D j/k vat. ;)

I've never had the comfort of airconditioning at work. Since I work in a kitchen it wouldn't be very effective or efficient. But I would have to say that my experiences on the LEast Coast of the US have been the worst for the kitchen. Not only due to the high heat, but the added humidity. The humidity is what bothers me the most.
115 deg, and 12% humidity. I'll take that over 90 and 90% humidity anyday in the kitchen.

Hahaha welcome to the club! I feel so sorry for all those cart pushers at the gorcery stores here in AZ. poor kids pushing metal carts in 100 degree weather in the huge ass walmart parking lot at 110 degrees....I'm so lucky I work inside.

hey milefile what part of AZ do you live in?

HEY IDIOTS, QUIT COMPLAINING.

In Las Vegas, when I go to sleep, it is 99F (37C) out. That's 1 AM for those of you who don't chat with me on AIM or MSN. During the day, we're lucky if we don't break 110F (43C) but usually it hovers around 113F (45C) and sometimes goes higher.

So shut the hell up.

Why don't you just drop dead?

I've always said I'll die before I reach the age of 25 so if I last past that I'll just shoot myself for you. Is that good enough?

Not really, in this, my 26th year.[/B]

I'll either be dead, or seriously maimed, and stuff. I'll either die in a car wreck, motorcycle wreck, plane wreck, or someone's going to shoot me in the face.
